The official thrift/discount store bragging thread - Part II (Return to the Thunderdome) - Page 2902

Since we're all flip bragging lately, this guy from a few weeks back. Big ups to @silverwarebandit for an assist on the name fistbump.gif

Seriously, sometimes this shit is more lucrative than being a drug dealer.

I was pretty happy when these sold for ten times what I paid for them last weekend. Sold a Robert Graham shirt same weekend. Looking forward to this weekend.

That shirt was in super high demand when it came out in like 2012. It was crazy trying to get one especially in a medium. It was like the "jack rabbit" but with a turned pocket and people went nuts over it. I've sold some of my older cpo stuff for crazy stupid prices.

I couldn't have a man bun, whether I want one or not, not enough hair left. I'm there on the tweed, leather bound books (I have lots too) and mahogany though.

Have I inadvertently found the way to extract discount from Spoo?

Me:
Can I have that NWT Cuci jacket for £10?
Spoo: Haha fuck no! Who do you think you are son?
[waits, pulls out phone]
Me: Hey Spoo, check out this screen grab...
Spoo: 42900 UNREAD EMAILS!!?!!!! [falls to his knees] ANNYYYTTHHHIIINGG!!!!!

The page shows that she died at 86. However, in the window above the article, it shows that she died at 92. Odd... These are the things that drive my OCD nuts.

To the editor: YOU HAD ONE JOB!

Anyone recognize the design? I know someone else posted a brass valet last week but I don't think it is the same people.

Edit: Looks like mid-century Italian, but no idea on maker yet.

Edit Edit: Saw a couple of them being sold as Eames?

@Spoo and @ TNM, because I have shit to do. I've satisfied myself that there's nothing urgent going on there, and moved on with the important shit in my life. Like living. And making money. And making other things.

I've got one of those at home, I'll see if I can find any markings. I completely forgot to look up anything about it after I bought it.
