i was contacted by a thrift/resale store that was going out of the mens business. They said they had "quality" merchandise and wanted to sell it all.

So I bought the whole store.

90% of it was blind, I asked for a few examples of what they had, but I was rolling the dice on at least 80% of it, if not more. Since I had the Uhaul this weekend from moving into the LuxeSwap store, I thought it was the perfect time to complete the transaction.

So I got some cash and hauled away such :

started with 6 full extended rolling racks
1000

but there were another 7 rolling racks so i needed to improvise - aka, ball it up and chuck it in
1000

when that got to max capacity, i needed to move into the front seat
1000

don't let how it got in there fool you - at least 80% of it is prime stuff. its probably going to take me a few weeks to go through and sort but on first glance I saw :

10 Kiton cashmere SC's, some NWT
1 Sulka bearcat alpaca coat
150 Zegna suits and jackets
40 Brioni jackets and suits
35 BB suits and jackets
50 Brioni and Brunello Cucinelli pants
100 Zanella, RLPL and Incotex pants

theres probably a shitload more I'm missing as in total its all about 800 pieces or so. I actually scored this for well below thrift pricing because i took it all sight unseen. Net Net everything came out to about 8-10 dollars a unit, if my math was right. One of the best scores of my career, no question. Time for a ******* bottle of wine!

**I have no idea what sizes etc this stuff is and its going to take me forever to organize so please hold off on any PMs for now, you'll see it all soon I promise!

Dayummmmn @SpooPoker, I think you're looking at at least another Ferrari's worth of profit on that haul!

I don't even smoke, and I'm going to need a smoke after looking at that pile .

Sweet that's the best haul that will ever be. Right place right time and a ballsy gamble. Hope the dice work out that looks like a **** ton of work. I mean the pressing on all of it will take a weeks. How the hell you going to drive that truck with all that **** on the drivers side? But in this case you could always shove it completely full and tow the truck. Lol

Grats man, when you get it sorted out, i'd like to get on the long list of interested parties for maybe 2 or 3 suits.

@HansderHund didnt realize how rare these are, you ever find these in Vienna?

Never! Really cool find, they're an old maker. I saw their store a couple of times, but never the inside. They made boots/shoes for a lot of Austrian royalty. How did you come across those?

Went to the flea market this morning and spotted these from a distance. Walked over to them and the guy starts talking to me. When I go to flea markets, I look like a homeless guy, not one interested in spending money. Anyway, the guy starts talking to me and I found out he used to work for Ludwig Reiter, so he obviously knew the retail value. Still worth the purchase, but he wasn't interested in budging. All Ludwig Reiters and 3/4 had trees.

Want to trade? Can't swear the roll will be as good as yours, but I've been working on learning to handroll edges, and I can promise to pick a cool fabric to start from.

That pair you are displaying is not Shell Cordovan, maybe cordovan color.
