Denim heads, is this a score or a remake? I am about as knowledgeable with denim as Linda is to her title descriptions biggrin.gif

Nothing like getting a heads up from the manager of a local store about donations. Some people are against this type of tactic. For the record, he reached out to me. :)

Some recent pickups. Ive been really picky lately since I have an insane backlog of stuff and just started on last years taxes shog[1].gif

This is a common occurrence at stores by me ffffuuuu.gif

Left is a tie with an industrial staple through it, right is a scarf with an office staple. Very few ties come out unscathed cry.gif

Pretty much all NA.

Big shout out to txwoodwrkr and Koala. Just spent a few hours with them while visiting Austin while my wife had a work function. Thrifting and talking shop. Unfortunately nothing much was found but these guys are knowledgable and nice. Thanks again.

Where has Koala been lately? Tell him he's missed.

Also, you ever find something you didn't know you wanted and then got insanely excited when you found it. That happened when I saw this. Literally shouted "God damn shit yeah!"

Right back at ya and it was good to catch up w/ Koala again, he's been as elusive IRL as he has been here.  In usual Koala style, he found these LV pants and asked me if I wanted them.

Then this skeet, and that is all.

Friends:  Just logged on to change my location to Not Los Angeles. Moving to one of those flyover states this week. Haven't posted recently and been very busy, but nice to talk to some friends by PM. Wanted to share one last interesting find, then it'll not be the same. Thrifting in LA is fun.

Yeah and also a fit pic, Old YSL France velvet smoking jacket, Versace tie from @dukedishin IIRC, Hermes trou, Uniqlo OCBD

And one last bit of advice requested, could be fun: I'm packing a box of my favorite thrifted stuff, I want to classify the collection as a high value item, and I want to give the movers an estimate for approx (retail) value so they'll do a signature delivery on both sides of the move. So I'll spoiler the list for the non-players out there. All opinions, advice and guesstimates are appreciated.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Gianni Versace shawl collar smoking jacket
Paul Stuart suit
Tellason denim jacket
Brooks brothers Golden Fleece sport jacket
Incotex wool pants
Corneliani sport jacket
Yves st Laurent France velvet smoking jacket
Hermes wool pants
Brioni jacket
Prada sport jacket
Turnbull and asser shirt
Ralph Lauren purple label shirt
Truzzi dress shirt
Michael Bastian shirt
Versace classic tuxedo-ish shirt
Derek Rose cotton robe
Grigioperla silk robe
Ralph Lauren purple label made in England linen jacket
Brioni cotton pants
Isaia Napoli suit
Hermes casual shirt
Brioni cashmere wool sport jacket
Armani black label wool pants
Thierry Mugler snap front shirt
5 favorite ties: Dolcepunta, Kiton, Versace x2, Zegna

Also

@Rewfio is a very good dude, and I'm disappointed that only now do I learn that he literally lives across the street from me.

Okay vintage experts, I need some help. I've had these sitting around in a pile for about 6 months, just rediscovered them today. Paid top dollar for these so I hope they're a gem? Really having a hard time finding anything about these / dating them, but they feel old as hell, way older than the Big E Levi's I've found in the past. Halp.
