Probly not the ideal thread for this, but what is a good price to pay for a 2 pc Canali suit you plan on turning for a profit?

You're correct, this is not the thread for this question, which is very vague to begin with. Anyway, just look at ebay sold listings for a similar suit (label/pattern) to get a sense of the price it'll sell for.

Love that. Would totally wear in the winter. Coolest camo I've seen, next to German flecktarn and Swedish M90 camo, which is borderline modern art

camouflage emerged from modern art circa WWI. look up dazzle camo sometime.

Just did. Was suitably dazzled.

Yes. I'm so far away from what I was wearing when I first started posting here, it's like two different people.

Picked up my first online estate sale purchase today.  Some cool stuff.

WW2 army officer uniform dated 1942.  Based on eBay it's not too rare but still cool

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Not exactly the Stetson you want but still vintage royal stetson with box

Had my hopes up as I saw blurry pictures of what appeared to be NOS burgundy Florsheim Imperial Wintips.  Turned out the wingtips are indeed NWOB Imperial but are from the 90s.  There were a couple vintage Imperials but not really the ones you want and they are not NOS =(

I thought I'd try an estate sale this morning in Palm Beach, over on the island amidst all the Big $ homes.  Showed up at 8AM just as they opened, went straight for the clothing rack;  it was all Wimminz.  I asked the kind estate sales lady about pricing;  she said it was all $5 per piece.  I immediately grabbed a long lambskin shearling coat by Jekel.  She says "Oh, there's fur in there.  Just a minute".  She called over another lady and asked about the price.  The second lady said "I've never even worn that, how about $200".  I put it right back on the rack and walked away.

Then I was browsing items on a table in the garage, and a man walked up to me to tell me about the Nook he is selling.  I politely said thanks but no thanks, and realized now that the home owners were hovering over everyone trying to hawk their things.  Grr....

I found a Henckels Chef knife, asked the sales lady (avoiding the homeowners), who told me it is $1.

I go to check out at the exit, a second sales lady says:  "This is all?  It's 25."  I said "Cents"? to which she scoffed and said "No, DOLLARS".  She then tried to school me on "Solingen" and how it is where all the knives are made, blah blah blah.  I called the other sales lady over, who explained she told me it is $1.  The check out lady scoffs with a disgusted look and says "ummm....ok....$1."

What an unpleasant experience, back to GW for me...

/end rant.
