Careful with not using a cart.

I used to never use a cart until I had absolutely no way to carry the load any more. It was kind of a superstition for me.

However, a few months ago (August I think) I started to develop a horrible case of thrifters elbow. Prolonged time periods of heavy wool coats over the left forearm while shuffling the racks with the right. That coupled with my renewed interest in guitar immobilized my arm for at least all of September and October. I had to cancel 3 golf outings that I was looking forward to, and had to minimize thrifting, some loops were skipped altogether. Years ago I would play guitar 3 to 4 hours a day, sometimes more. Now I can only play for about 10 minutes a day. Even photography has been a challenge. It has been some of the worst pain I have had in a long time.

So....now I grab a cart.

Hehe... One benefit of hoarding clothing: Going denim shopping in your own inventory.

So I've been losing a lot of weight recently, and all my good selvedge jeans (Gustin, PRPS, vintage Levis, N&F, etc) are all WAY too big for me to wear. My slimmest pair (UB201) are like 2 sizes too big. I've been looking for new pairs at trade shops, eBay, SF, etc... I then realized this morning that I could just go out to my workshop and look through my 40-50+ pairs I have on hand. Ended up finding 3 pairs that fit very well, and even some old photos for each.

You can keep justifying it however you like dude, but you likely have too much **** to reasonably sell yourself at this point in any sort of reasonable time frame. Sure you have it reasonably arranged and stored, but this is bordering on (past?) insane. Like... you legit have a ferrari buried in all your inventory.

Or hit the gym couple times a week and blast the biceps.

Damn, I once had a guy make a move for my cart that I left by the suits when I was checking ties. I had a solid load and digging tie racks is a two handed job, keeping it in my peripheral though, a guy made a move, and I turned and stepped and he steps back and goes "oh um is this yours? Did you want that?" ....like naaw I didn't that's why it's in my ******* cart (however said less sarcastically and sans profanity)...stealing out the cart, like eazye said, no fuckin question..

And coming from an ex-baseball player who had scholarship offers, hitting the gym 5 days a week still doesn't stop ligament issues...part of the reason why I had to quit and pass on the offers... that and fracturing my shoulder and playing through it for a year...resulting ligament issues also..
