Any hope for these? Super old Florsheim shell cordovan monk straps. Looks like a crack in the right shoe. How much worse will this get over time?

Yeah, but if you wore your own tux, you'd outshine the groom, and We Can't Have That, Can We?  It's the same reason bridesmaids have to wear those execrably ugly dresses.
