The collar style says 1980s to me. I recently sold a black label skirt suit for a pittance. I'd put it at $49.99 and see what happens. And I'd wait until fall. Few people are searching for cashmere jackets when it's 9348769234785 degrees outside.

Thanks for the tips.  I am continually blown away by how cool and helpful everyone on SF are.  You folks have made this new hobby awesome!

Can we leave ma'amories out of this? This is a men's style forum.

Actually, I'm still trying to get used to the idea of how men's shirt sizing works. See, with women's tops, if PTP is 24", it will fit up to a 48" bust without puckering or gaping across the bust, so if I had a size 46-48 bust, I would probably buy that size to ensure that the rest of the top doesn't hang like a potato sack (although many women deliberately buy a size up in knitwear to be certain there is no puckering across the bust). And of course, sizes are inconsistent brand to brand. Some brands, like FLAX, Jams World, and Tianello, are inconsistent even within their own company. I currently am working up listings for  M, XL, and XXL Jams World women's tops that ALL fit a 48" bust. Can't figure it out. So I always give PTP in my title line along with tagged size.

Apparently, men's shirts are sized differently? A PTP of 24" is considered a size 46 or a L, except when it's a Hawaiian shirt, when it may be M?

It almost sounds like he's suggesting you wear it to Burning Man, but few people (aside from me) wear tailored clothes on the playa.

That's so nobody would recognize me if they walked past me on the street. Although, nobody would recognize El Doggo either, right now. I shaved him BALD for summer. #10 blade against the lay of the hair.  Less chance of clipper burn than a #40.  And the taco went to live in California with a taco fanatic who takes it to My Little Pony conventions. Ahem. :D

When you turn down the suits/sc aisle, and you see a woman stuffing a shopping cart ahead of you. baldy[1].gif

But you take a look anyway, and she passed on this:

It's a little funky, as the left sleeve is 1/2" shorter than the right, and can't be lengthened, but I think it'll do okay on the Bay.

Just remember to disclose that little nugget of information in the listing. On one of my listings, I didn't... hilarity did not ensue.

I had somebody open a case on me regarding measurements. It turned out the measurements were correct and the buyer misread them.

A huge shout out to @datsunfan. He gave me killer deal on a NWT PRL black grosgrain cummerbund. It's perfect.

Do business with this guy. He's a good guy.
