Few questions for all you gurus that came up while I was reading:

1) Is Polo sport instant cop? I saw a minty winter puffer jacket in red I'm kind of regretting passing now lol I assumed it was diffusion nonsense

2) What is Corneliani Trend then? Good or bad?

3) Hope everyone saw Spoo's post for Brian even if you didn't know him personally, it's a good read

4) Regarding weight. I stopped eating take out 7 days a week (probably once or twice now) and that was enough to drop me from 200 to 180. I sit on my butt all day at work although I am fairly active after work. Sometimes small changes can help a lot!

1. If its super logo'd out and your in the mood to buy something to post on ebay and make a solid buck, then yes.

2. This depends strongly on where your scale starts and where it ends. I'd put it on par with 1818 Collection for quality of construction.

3. Did

4. Eat out for every meal but haven't had fast food for 5-6 years now. It's super easy. Just keep driving. That shit is fucking poison. Feel proud of yourself. Repeat.

BIIIIGGG EDIT: Just reread the Coreliani question ad I totally misread your original one. I read Trend but thought ID. Corneliani Trend is another branch of the company, this stuff I would put on par with Zegna White Label garments, purely based on construction. They are soley made ad constructed to be very casual and unstructrued. The pieces are usualy unlined as well.I've crossed paths a couple quite nice pieces from this line. It's sort of their casual offering.

I must say, I respect the hell out of a lot of you guys for your insane pick ups and menswear knowledge, but DAMN is there ever a lot of incorrect/coincidental/anecdotal weight loss information getting posted, which probably means there is even more getting PM'd to a poor guy whose inbox is probably overflowing with broscience and bullshit.

Incidentally, that's how I lost weight: having so much fitness bullshit thrown at me that I lost my appetite. That, and food poisoning.

Honestly though, who cares. If you find yourself relying solely on the Styleforum Thrift Thread for all your health tips, advice, and information, you deserve all of this.

Step 1. Unplug it

Step 2. Office Space it

Step 3. Buy an Epson or search around for one of the old school Xerox jawns that are indestructible.

Been running long distance seasonally for years and can certainly vouch for this. Always feel entitled to eat more after a long run but thats a mistake.

my canon has the same problem. I have to push each page individually. I bought it a month ago.

There's a youtube video that explains how to fix this but I shouldn't have to take a screwdriver to a month old printer.

This doesn't make any sense. I'm sorry, but this is just straight up wrong. There's a lot that seems true anecdotally or based on personal experience, but that doesn't mean there's a scientific basis for it. I think I might have unintentionally contributed to the broscience being thrown around here, so this is my last post on the topic, but lifting weights will not inherently make you bigger, and it definitely doesn't lower your metabolism. Ultimately what matters is net caloric balance in weight loss, but there are complex physiological factors involved in how your body regulates which and how much energy it uses, which is why the concept of just running on the treadmill longer is not a very efficient method of losing weight long term. I have a graduate degree in physiology, but more importantly, I read and follow a lot of the newest studies in this specific area.

That being said, for the average person, any system whether its a food diary, weight watchers, or myfitnesspal which forces you to track your intake on a daily basis will result in weight loss because most people eat more than they think they do on a daily basis. It also gives you a better awareness and feel for nutritional balance, and there's a lot of psychological factors at play as well. Also, just hang out with skinny people, studies have shown that people who hang out with fatter people tend to gain weight and vice versa.

The tapeworm diet is also an option.
