I will say the easiest thing you can do is increase your lean protein intake because you'll end up losing weight without trying. Also, my recommendation for exercise would be a lifting regimen that includes squats, deadlifts, and bench press because it builds lean muscle mass and even before you get to your weight loss goals, you'll start looking better. It's also the most forgiving because once you start building muscle and a strength base, even if you get off track, it's easier to get back on track, at least in my experience. Aerobic capacity is easier to lose, and takes more time to develop. I could go deeper into the physiology and other aspects, but I'll save that for PM's.

Im gonna respectfully disagree.I dont claim to be a personal trainer but my gf is and ive been lifting since im 16 and im 42 now.
Benchpress and squats WILL lower ur metabolism so you will actually gain weight.yes its muscle and muscle is heavier then fat etc but you will still look more bulky then cut
Any compound movement will do that but those two especially.
I suggest stretch exercises instead.
For example dumbell flyes instead of bench and leg extensions instead of squats.

Exercise is great but cut carbs- especially sugar and you will loose a significant amount of weight and get rid of inflammation too. Stick to mostly fats and proteins.

Look up ketogenic diet. its like a better atkins diet. Easy to follow because you can still eat good tasting food but you cannot eat soda, bread, ice-cream, etc.

Wow, the broscience. You won't gain weight unless you eat enough food to gain weight.

Sorry, I normally don't argue online, but there isn't a word of this that is true.

I decided to switch to all organic last year and lost about 10 pounds just doing that. No real changes to my diet. The downside is that food costs more, but I've also found that I am happier with less now. I think it may have to do with all the artificial crap that is in our food. Tricks your brain into wanting more, just a crazy thought. Also there is basically no where you can eat out, if you want to be strict about it. I still slip up once a week or so. I like the Costco food court too much.

No.

I'm sure there are many physicists out there who will be very interested in finding that simple squatz and deadlifts allow us to break the laws of thermodynamics.

6' 2" and went from 203 to 167 in a few months just counting calories with Lose It. Didn't exercise or stop eating any types of foods...just ate less. (Did get into running after I lost the weight though.)

It did help to find a few go-to low cal snacks to fill in gaps between meals. Also kept a supply of 250-300 calorie Lean Cuisine meals in case I got to dinner time and didn't have much calorie budget left.

You are a good counter with a healthy metabolism, that type of calorie burning does not happen at that rate in that amount of time for the avg adult male.....Honestly, if you could give a shit about health and just wanna lose lbs quick and fast, eat once at 5 oclcok, no more than 600 calories and do this for 3 months. You will look like a fucking different person. Again, not healthy, extremely effective. And no cheat days.
