Good. Birkenstocks are atrocious and deserved to be burned, unceremoniously.

Thriftfit: these Carrera 5512 are insane, I do not dare using them further from home than on the porch. Also: thrifted muslimgauze t-shirt, gets strange looks from arab people due to the similarity to the IS logo... And a thrifted Our Legacy jacket.

Non Thrifting question and please don't hesitate to take it off the thread and PM me.

Wife and I just booked a last minute 4 night trip to Vegas for next week.  I have been before and she has not.  Staying at the Palms and already have reservation to see KA one night and eat at Scarpetta at the Cosmopolitan one night.  So she can try a Vegas Buffet, I am thinking of breakfast at the Wynn one morning as I have also never seen this hotel and hear its worth the trip.

Other than the usual suspects (go to old town and do the fremont experience, see the Bellagio fountains, etc.), do any of you know any special or must do things out there.  We will not have a car.  The stuff above is going to take a good part of our budget so any ideas for great deals or coupons is appreciated.  I know everyone on this thread loves dicounts.

Also, where is the best place to shop and see some amazing high level stuff, Kiton, TF, BC, etc.

I have heard it is probably not worth my time to even try thrifting.

Thanks,

While I would love to try this sometime, The expense is going to keep it out of this trip.

Thanks,

Last time we went I booked rather cheap front row tix to the Beatles show and had a blast. As for the high end stuff it's everywhere. I'd rent a car and drive around, do the drive to Primm and see the last call etc.

Ditto for Forum at Caesars, and Encore Esplanade (at Wynn, tho fewer shops).
The outlets never panned out for me.

My house is a 5-hour drive or $50 flight away from Vegas and I've never been. One of these days.

I say venture out in the glasses; looks like they have a nice Beastie Boys-ish Sabotage vibe to me. [source needed].
