Don't forget Alan Flusser Purple Label!

Do you guys have a most hated clothing label? One that when you see it, it makes you irrationally upset?

This is mine. I know nothing about this brand but when I see it, it upsets me. I have no idea why. And they make fucking EVERYTHING.

The disclaimer in fine print is the funny part. It's like why they even tried to make something it's not. I see it all the time probably a couple times a year. Irritating as hell.

@Rewfio I've never found Isaia and I blame Alfani.

I kept running into something called tri-mountain thinking it was Patagonia yesterday. I had never even heard of it.

Damn, y'all pulling Loro Piana coats lately like it's nothing.

Was that all true thrift Spoo? And whatever happened to that NWT LP vest you pulled?

For me the Flusser and Apt. 9 purple labels are the worst because they are usually on clothing which looks decent at first glance (sometimes more than decent,) and the purple will almost always make me think "sweet, RLPL," before the huge disappointment sets in.

Hunt club always make me think of Dr.L.

@capnwes, those J.Crew seersucker pants are not mainline, they're J.Crew Factory. (That's what the two diamonds on the label mean.)

Can you explain the difference?

If the label only says J.Crew, I've been listing as J.Crew. I've actually seen labels that say Factory on them.

Nevermind... I found some discussions elsewhere online explaining the tags.

I'm just going to say this:

Fuck you J.Crew for the deceptive labels. At least have the cajones to put Factory Store on the labels...

Haha.

At least that's 100% wool, not the polyester crap that clogs up the rails.
