A mini thriftcation while studying for boards didn't yield much yesterday, but I did find these for myself:

Obligatory @330CK

Update: I took the painting home and opened the back gently (the paper backing) and found a business card of the artist. Frances Poole. Pretty happy - I've reached out to her to learn more about the painting. nod[1].gif

It's a cool piece, isn't it? My wife looked at it and just said "sex. it looks like sex."

Cool, I'd love to grab a few more, but I assume it's gonna be a somewhat regional distribution, and not around where I live now. Also probably not $.98 a pair, lol.

Well, went back to the store that had shirts. Someone had helped himself to several of them. But I still managed to snag a few. Pics are forthcoming.

This thread is probably not the appropriate place for this, but I guess in a way it is from thrifting.
A few weeks ago there was an ad on here for a Kent Wang contest. I entered, and won a set of cuff links of my choice from Kent Wang!
I picked these beautiful Sapphire and silver ones. My pictures don't do them justice; they are absolutely gorgeous, and I'm surprised at how sturdy they feel.
Huge shout out to @KentWang.
I'll be sure to tell everyone where I got them.

Final art update for this piece.

I spoke to the artist. She is no longer painting, unfortunately, and could not recall the name of the painting. However, she did say that the theme is the end of a dinner party.

Said to place a value of $5,000-$7,500. smile.gif
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I paid $32.
