Does anyone have a good method of getting wrinkles out of ties? Grabbed a couple today that need to be de-wrinkled.

Thanks
Steamer works well.

I use the steam function on my iron for ties. If steam alone doesn't work, then apply a little pressure but be sure to place a shirt or towel between the tie and the iron.

Letting a tie hang will remove wrinkles from ties that were in a knot for 8 hours, but if you find it at a thrift store and it's wrinkled, chances are it's going to need steam.

Nostalgia sells. and learning what members get nostalgic about? is a good thing.

i'd love to do a thing where we all fit pic ourselves reliving the glory days. maybe a mullet and a Camaro?

Ha! That would be great. Alas, I would have loved to have had a Camaro back in high school. Many of my friends had Camaros, or T/As, or G Body cars (Buick Regal, Olds Cutlass, Pontiac Grand Prix), but instead I had a 78 Oldsmobile Delta 88 (in 1989) and after wrecking it, getting my mothers 1982 Nissan Sentra STATION WAGON! That car was so SLOW, but it did have a redeeming quality for those nights after the dance or football games. The rear seat folded down and a couple of air mattresses fit back there!

As far as a Mullet, I sort of wanted one (and maybe even a mullet and a mini truck), but I looked more like Alex P. Keaton from Family ties rather than cool like the guys with the mullets.

So, while I am screwing around on eBay all day, my mother-in-law drives 45 minutes each way to take care of my daughter during the summer months. She loves it and would not hear of us doing anything different. Anywho, she is 70 years old and is not exactly up to date when it comes to modern culture. Last weekend, she purchases a hat from a yard sale for $1. Being an avid gardener, she thinks that the "ferns" on the hat are nice. Well, I never see the hat and she has been driving my daughter around town all week while wearing it. My wife sees her in it and almost chokes on her diet coke. She claims that she has received many compliments on the hat. I politely told her that I would sell it for her and gave her the $1 back. Hey, it's made in the USA with nice construction! I guess it's brag worthy? lol

Most all my clothing was either homemade or hand-me-downs when I was a kid.

I was happy to have these though, even though the pumps were popped before my cousin passed them down to me.

Sammy and Zeg trofeo are both NA. AE saddles are getting returned, I somehow missed the heel issue. If anyone wants them at cost +shipping pm me before tomorrow around 10 am! And Wendy can suck it.

Edit: also, that Burberry IS an orphan. But some orphans need homes.
