Huge longshot here and time is kind of the essence.

Hoping to grab a pair of NOS longwings or PTBs - specifically Florsheim or similar.

Thanks dudez!

Probably would have at least made sense to add my size.

11D.

Thanks again all!

I've owned a lot of SI over the years. Jackets and jumpers are really strong sellers so that should do well. Really small sizes though. Shame the badge has gone, probably nicked by someone, they are worth about £20 on their own.

If you are selling it on make sure to take pictures of the labels inside when selling, including the art number, buyers will want to see that as there are a load of fakes about. (Apologies if you know all this)

I'm pretty sure I was thrifting in Frenchy's wake yesterday as I found his patented stash of worthwhile items hanging lol

Anyhow I found a sweet BBCC tie. I passed on the imperials as they were a smidgen too small. They were like a 9.5 and I'm a 10. I also passed on the jeans. I assume they were fake? Size 48 is 32 waist no? That metal bar was heavy as hell tho

Unfortunatley inside labels were cut off (but if they hadn't, it prolly wouldn't still have been there so...). I don't know much about SI but I decided it was real, everything just looks quality. Agree about the small sizes. This fits me pretty perfect so gonna hang on to it.

I didn't know badges were that expensive on their own, thanks

It looks real from what I can see there, I have a jacket from the same range and everything looks right. If you want to be certain then post up a close up of one of the buttons, the fakes never get that right - or splash a little water over it, the water won't stick to the fabric. Awesome rain jackets😎

A great one to pick up thrifted - Ive only picked up a few SI & CP Company (sister company) pieces over the years, but they've either become favourites to wear or done well for me.

Yeah, I tried with a little water yesterday, and like you say it didn't stick

Yup, that's real.

Edit - as useful information for anyone who comes across what they think might be fakes, the badge is usually pretty good, as are the tags inside, although the art number is generally for a different model, but the buttons are usually flatter and less curved than the ones in the picture above - the ones above being real. They also never bother getting the fabrics close to right either.

After looking it up those D&G are probably real. D&G size 48 is a US 34 for some reason although it doesn't look like they are particularly valuable.

Yeah I have some D&G to sell that are tagged 52 and 38 and are definitely a 38 waist. Strange sizing. Those look real BTW. Same inside tags as the ones I'm selling and mine are real, but yup, not worth a great deal.

My first Kiton. Micron 14 super 180s. Wrinkled but overall good condition. Was worried I wouldn't find the pants but after scouring the rack I found them. smile.gif sadly, not my size.

No shit man. These finds got me seriously chompin for better thrifting grounds. My brother is moving to Shorewood this summer, so hoping to come up and hit those Minnetonka area thrifts.
