I'm not 100% on this, but I think capital E was a Levis premium brand that started before LVC (or maybe just overlapped.)

As I recall, the story was they pulled some shady shit - something about ripping off code and/or redirecting people to grailed or something like that.  Probably buried in the old thread.

IIRC back when grailed was in beta the dude who started it (Arun is his name I believe) was EXTREMELY SPAMMY trying to get new people to join. I had several messages from him on reddit that were all the same copied and pasted post. Like, would go through every single classified on SF and the /r/malefashionmarket post on reddit and message anyone who posted decent looking pictures to try to get them to post their items on grailed. There's a whole post about it somewhere but essentially the SF mods were sick of it and just banned it entirely and never went back on it.

Yeah I thought I read that Fok had unscrewed the grilled links but guess not. For those wondering it was a link to a polo Indian head sweater someone was asking $700 for.

As to the Arun dude from grilled I mean just look at this guy

it's true that LVC released a 1978 little e 501, but this isn't that repro.

it is a premium selvedge version of the 501 that levi's did in the 90s
