I didn't want to mention the "potential" in case dude likes it as-is, which would be totally fine...but yeah if it were mine I'd make with the paint scheme, fill in the angled posts with something solid and whimsical, and stain those concrete planters.  Looks like at least one fireplace as well - would be awesome if there was one of those 3-sided "floating" fireplaces in the LR, but having any, as it appears they do, rocks nonetheless.

Nope. Hardly ever get a chance to head into Halton anymore with two kids at home (which is probably just as well given the way you keep the whole GTA on lock ). These were hometown Hamilton pickups. How Brioni wound up in a town that considers dated Hugo Boss orphans to be the holy grail of thrifting, I'll never know. I'm not complaining.

Errm, and on the subject of LRL: shop today had a NWT green label seersucker suit, original price $650 (yes, for the lowest of the low RL line)...they wanted $75 for it.  Could not pull the trigger on it.  Just can't get behind that crap, though obviously people buy it (at Macy's) because I see it all the time.

Seems right to me, but would one of our resident denim experts mind confirming?

^I passed on a pair of those a couple months ago but they were the girls' ones. Seems like the guys' ones do much better.

mens reverse weave knit bomber.

it's taken a little while but i've really come around to appreciating marc jacobs.

x-post from our Eurotrash thread.

First three all local charity shops, total spend <£10.

One of my fave finds. Always cheap as the shops don't recognise it, but sell well. Small stain right at the bottom, way below where tucked in. (AVAILABLE):

Pop for me. Checks out as genuine via the tag numbers. (AVAILABLE)

And a second pop in the next shop, a very rare visitor to the UK. Fits amazingly well on me, really unusual for a 'regular' fit. (NOT AVAILABLE)

E-thrift staple for me, which also fits amazingly, NWOT. NOT AVAILABLE.

AE Dryden E-thrift which are too small for me, so available. US 10.5B, and too narrow for me. Probably a narrow UK 9-9.5. AVAILABLE

Finally, my Hackett tie failed the gren check, and I mentioned I had a Tyrwhitt I thought was the same which was a BNWT e-thrift with a CT label saying it was gren, so I offer it up for checking also:
