Curious to get an idea of what the thread would do:

If you'd buy a Barbour Beaufort with liner (great condition, unsure if for personal use or to flip) for $125 please thumb this post.

Probably the oldest piece I've picked up.

Savile Row morning (evening?) coat and trou from 1936. Wear on the sleeve buttons but otherwise great shape for its age. Looks like these guys are still around too.

Some stuff from today. Nothing too exciting but I'm probably gonna keep everything anyway. Grabbed the messenger bag for my brother and the boat and tote is gonna be perfect for upcoming beach trips! Ties L-R: Jpress, vintage wool x2, jcrew cotton kit made in Italy and a good ol BB repp. Got a small lead on who makes the shoes but any more help is appreciated smile.gif

First off, shoutout to Spoo for a great trade - hope you enjoy the pants! Will say upfront, not sure about the watch at the end of this post... but the details are there... please let me know what you think.

Some ties..Main line Dior, yeah why not..

Yet another BB 1818 suit..

So here's the watch...let me preface by saying it is in ROUGH shape, and is N/A no matter the outcome... vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust... appears to have been made in 1971 or 1972 based on the band (which details match this auction, nearly dead on http://www.ebay.com/itm/20MM-GENUINE-ROLEX-6251H-Folded-Jubilee-Bracelet-GMT-Explorer-55-Ends-1972-SS-/152051335912)

Couple things make me think it could be legit. First, why fake a watch and then datestamp it to be made in 1972? Raised crystal which appears to be correct for this date range (based on 72 stamp on band), non-quickset movement which is correct for mfg date, stamping on the band is dead on for every one I can find from the 1970s from reputable eBay sellers. Movement is automatic, and I can hear the movement winding up as the rotor spins...

Best part, true thrift...

Edit: some of my reasoning was off, but I still vote fake on the Rolex. The only way to know for sure is have it opened up by a reputable dealer.
