Have at them!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mens-boots-by-GRENSON-MADE-IN-ENGLAND-SIZE-9-1-2-F-UK-11-5-US-/262372205738?hash=item3d169a24aa:g:9wUAAOSwqYBWox4V

A UK 9.5/Euro 42 isn't an 11.5. Is it? I wear 11.5 and I think the euro equivalent is 45 or so. Am I way off. I thought UK size was roughly 1 size off. Meaning these would be about 10.5. But, even that doesn't make sense if they are really a Euro 42.

No, their sizing is all over the place. Eur 42 is a UK 8. It equates to a U.S. 8.5 or 9 depending on who you listen to.

Having said that... really looks like 1871 to me. shog[1].gif

I'm not an expert but I have a minor in art history. Stylistically it doesn't seem to be from the 19th century.

Okay, I know im sloppy with checking condition of things etc, but seriously, not noticing this!

Seriously, the former owner must have been blind...Its on a pair of givenchy sunglasses...
Edit: if it wasnt clear in the picture, thats the thickness of the glass.

I have no real art training but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night and I can tell you without a doubt that this is 12th century Japanese.
