Except when the day comes that you actually partake in a level of sheer dishonesty to steel inventory, and you are nothing short of completely and totally called out for your efforts. Embarassment does not begin to explain the emotion. It's more akin to never wanting to ever step foot in the store again.

I'd be. but simply if no one takes advantage or everyone does, it makes no difference. I either have shit load of inventory or I don't. This is a concern I handle easily in one day with 10 tie lots at a time. Instead of hook everyone here up I could unload my inventory at a profit before I'm even thinking about grabbing lunch. Just tryin to give back, thats all...

The only Belvest I have ever come up on has been the good shit, including my recent 13 suit haul, I've never thrifted lower level stuff, but I was just finding it hard to believe that they were able to have so many licensing agreements and be able to churn out all those suits with hand picked stitching or free floating full canvas jackets for everyone. Gracias.

I would like to comment however, that my entire haul, every suit is actually MTM, they also all possess hand work at locations usually saved for a machine, most noticeably and of note, the lapels, which are all done entirely by hand. The wool ranges from Super 120s to a few Super 180s, however, with all that said, these do not follow that color code with the tags. These suits are full canvass highest grade of production. The closest thing they offer to bespoke. Their most expensive suits. They have full canvass construction, tons of hand work etc.. and they are all white label. So this doesn't always necessarily run true I guess.

Or it might be vice versa (dark is half canvass, white is full canvass). David Cenci helped explain it.

I think Prada is still using both manufacturers. I've also noticed that some RLPL soft pieces are being done by Cantarelli while the suits are still Caruso.

Oh yea, do you use these strategies when your buying the bulk of your inventory at discount stores? Dude, comment if it applies to you, obviously thats a basic lesson that could help out a lot of the people I talk to on here. Obviously your cool sellig NWT items and sweaty used work out gear. Or better yet writing short novels describing the intricate details of fucking fleece shirt through the years. At least my shit will help the beginniners set prioirites and be able to truly manage time. Your shit has just informed me how many years that shit I would never thrift anyway has been sweated in by dudes that don't shower. Thanks.

The fact that you had to ask, suggests that it is entirely obvious that your post was inappropriate for this thread. You don't always need to be right, or be the loudest voice in the room.

FWIW, I don't think another thread could be more appropriate; it's targeted at members exclusively of this thread.

Are you sure they were RLPL pieces? Because some casual Polo Italy are actually Cantarelli now, however RLPL isn't tagged due to contractual agreements made by Ralph. Also the RLPL suits were never Caruso, from the jump they have always been St. Andrews if made in Italy. Black Label though, always Caruso.

Also every David Cenci I've come across would fall under the category of white label as well, and I would imagine they would only contract for high end work. I think the tagging system if anything is opposite than what you got goin on. Cuz I have an Hermes blazer that is 93% Cash and 7% Silk that is made by Belvest and it's white tag also. I also recently sold two Louis Vuitton suits and they both had Belvest white tags. Meanwhile, Ive never ever crossed pathes with a darker colored label

Edit: Also I think your right, about Prada, the pieces are impossible to date, because you can find either label from either tiem period in any piece you pic up. I do know one thing though, almost all of the older Prada you find will be Belvest, I do know that. However it seems that the newer Prada pieces are only Belvests under certain conditions. Most notably their specialty fabrics like their suit that is water proof and shit, thats Belvest, or their Blazers with complex weaves and colors and such, they have continually been Belvest as well. However you basic construction, solid suits etc.. Cantarelli 100%....Seems as if Prada is actually producing their own goods on their own in house quality scale, Belvest for top tier and Cantarelli for the rest.

This thread is about stuff people find in thrift stores. The Ebay thread is about discussing making money selling stuff online. We used to actually distinguish between the two.

Fair, but it hasn't been that way for a loooong time. No need to target one person when there are a bunch of members that get passes for similar things. Plus, it doesn't seem like @Jompso is doing this to make money. Seems like a legitimate act of good faith on his behalf.

and here i thought the ebay thread was for incessant bitching @Fueco. turns out this thread is as well.

the ebay thread is about ebay (obviously!). not at issue here.

The amount of times I have referenced any of my ebay dealings in any manner on this thread equate to 1 time, in nearly 2 years, and that shit happened merely days ago. However in those same nearly two years I have been a part of this thread that has given me a lot over that time period. I personally try and attempt to give back what I take, and when I make a post that clearly has no other intentions but purely helping others in this community out losing me countless amounts of money. When I clarify that this is not a promotion of selling my goods I promoting the fact that I'll be esssentially giving them away and that I would prefer it to be to this community and not randoms. When I state all of these things so it is quite clear that my intentions are not of the norm, yet quite a special circumstance I want for a small group of people only. And then after clarifying all of these details so it is without a doubt purely intended to help out others here because I would like to be a nice guy, and then I still follow that with a statement saying that even after all that is clear please just tell me this is still innapropriate and I will remove it, I think I covered my bases clarified intent, needed quick feedback if appropriate, and was ready to react if necessary. I have no history nor do I have any experience talking about my business dealings on here so I am truly not aware of the no exceptions policy. Your affinity to making every business transaction front page news however already has me knowing that your fully aware of every rule by law and sub section of that by law, so you exactly what you can share and say....sorry man. I was trying to be nice. I guess this act offended you, and my intentions were merely seen as a ploy for attention and nothing more. Your ability to see through me is uncanny, truly remarkable.

Fueco, I think every person who has ever clicked on the ebay thread is well aware of your affinity for it. Not merely a thread to post on, it reads more like a chronological journal of your daily ebay interactions. My favorites including things that are in no way funny yet shared because you made yourself laugh or you think your reaction was clever. Or the other, ebay messages you receieved asking to clarify obscure adrogenous garments your offering for sale and find these people to by stupid or some other tired comment on their intellect or whatever.

The ebay thread is for ebay, my post was not appropriate for a bunch of people asking questions and seeking help with ebay problems and situations or you and your 100 daily entries. No it was for those who frequent the thrift/AND FUCKING DISCOUNT PAGE. YOU KNOW THOSE THINGS CALLED DISCOUNTS? Your Marshall trips must have you familiar. And on this THRIFT AND DISCOUNT PAGE I WAS OFFERING THE PEOPLE WHO I TRULY OWE A LOT TO THE ABIILITY TO ACQUIRE GOODS FOR WHATEVER FUCKING REASON THEY DESIRE, AS I STATE, AT PRICES THAT HAVE ME MAKING LESS THAN 50 CENTS A TIE, ON 6 AVG PURCHASES EACH, BECAUSE THERES PEOPLE ON HERE I WOULD LIKE TO OFFER THIS CHANCE TO BECAUSE THEY'VE GIVEN ME INFO OR THE COMMUNITY KNOWLEDGE. THEY'VE HELPED, THEY'VE GIVEN BACK, OR THEY MERELY TRADED A FEW PMS WITH ME AND I WAS ABLE TO SEE THEM AS WHO THEY REALLY ARE AND ABLE TO SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE HERE I TRULY DO LIKE. Your like a grumpy old man dude. Take your afternoon meds and take a nap or some shit. The fact that your making this big of a deal out of a purely obvious intent of a gesture of goodwill is fucking absurd. Or maybe it's cuz im giving away shit you'd pay top dollar for. Whatever the fuck made you all grumpy you need to take a deep breath and relax. Releaize what your arguing for and against and about. Then take into consideration how you are coming off as well. Either a toddler or an elderly man, both grumpy and moody cuz they didn't get their afternoon gerbers or whatever the fuck. You have a problem with me? That's fine I don't give a shit about your feelings or opinions, I never have, and blocking you were periods I realized I didn't have to read a lot of pure nonsense. But what your doing is trying to create a situation out of nothing. Turn me into a bad guy when I'm not. Your fucking forcing confrontation and I don't see the point as to why you fucking feel the need to do so. I have no problems with you nor anything to discouse or share with you. And just like all of use have to deal with your insiteful posts, you deal with everyone elses like an adult, cuz this is a public internet thread.
