You ever out running an errand, decide to hit a store, almost change your mind, see the full parking lot, almost change your mind again, walk in and find something amazing?

To quote a conspiracy theorist professor I had in college - "the rich and powerful, the power elites, the wealthy elites."

Yup you're seeing one of the stores newest pricing ideas.

@Ilikethelights sometimes it's stores that donate some of the newer items. Around here there's a season when Jcrew, Bonobos, Gilt, Unionmade and other big name stores donate items. If I were you I'd pop back in a few more times as more might come on out.

My favorite part is that the same store has (had?) some recentish mainline Zegna orphans for $14.99-$19.99.

Anyone know anything about Dupont lighters? Picked this up today - I've tried googling the product number (4FK12A8) which brings up a few results but none that look exactly like this particular model.

I'm not sure whether I have something really desirable or just a bog standard model. Does the little hallmark on the bottom indicate that it's a precious metal (I really am clueless)? The instruction book suggests this is late 80s.

EDIT: A bit more research suggests this is a fake. Here's a useful link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/ST-Dupont-Fake-Lighter-Guide-Line-2-/10000000177716840/g.html
I wish I could say that this was a cheap mistake, but it ******* wasn't. *******. I think I'll know a real one when I see it now though.

I don't think that's fake at all.do the ping test.when you flip it open it has a very distinctive sound.I had the same one ,silver plate diamond .got 300 on craigslist in 24 hours

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. I have just been swamped and I have been getting ready to meet with my accountant to finish my taxes. There is A lot of stuff that goes into taxes when you are doing this as a business (and another separate business too!). I know many of you already know that!

I'll get back on here hopefully soon. I am so behind. But, I have a question.

What is the Pendleton Shirt/Jacket called that has the metal snap/buttons. It is not just a Shacket. There is a name for the style. I think it starts with a C, but not sure. Anyone know?

CPO maybe?

The one that is like a blazer/shirt is called the 49er.

This is what I am referring to. The snaps on the pockets are metal. The buttons are larger sort of like a blazer, but flat like a big shirt button.

Something like this one, with two breast patch pockets, snap cuffs, corduroy collar, and handwarmer pockets with cotton flannel lining? Mine's labeled an "OutdoorsMan" on the tag sewn under the regular pendleton label.
