Nice color on that!

Camp 7 is one of the few local labels I have thrifted yet.

Yea man the color screams 1970's lol, it had a small hole on the back, is there an easy repair for this?

1970s in THE vintage to find for older outdoors gear... The people involved in the backpacking boom of the early 70s are now discovering the joys of finding that stuff on Ebay. And Camp 7 is one of the best...

For a whole in a down jacket, if you're keeping it, patching with duct tape is the best way to show off your dirtbagness. Otherwise, get some garment repair patch tape from REI or EMS or wherever. You might be able to find a color close to that if you look around. If you're selling it, just clearly photograph it, then put some scotch tape over it (so you don't lose any more down). before you ship it.

On the Maurizio B, correct it's not worth $500. I've had a few of their pieces. Machine pick stitching, felt half canvas. Cut well -- think LBM 1911 or Boglioli, but more fashion forward short body and long arms. Great fabrics though. And lots of features like curtain waistband, contrast lining, faded finish on chinos, etc.

Interesting. I own a pair of their side-zips and they're pretty nice, at least by SW&D standards. Didn't even know they did suits. Anyway, ATLJon, they seem to be one of those random Yoox brands, and I think you'd probably get a better deal there than at your local Marshall's.

Question: Since Samuel is now everywhere and anywhere, we recently hooked up with a cleaning service. Today, while cleaning the stove, I guess, she turned one of the burners on (inadvertently, I hope). So, for at least five hours, gas had been pouring into the house via an unlit burner. Thankfully, our cat and dog are alive, and the house is still here.

But we should look for a new cleaning lady, yes?

The feels when I leave a Patagonia down jacket behind cuz there's a line and I was running late for work...

...and it's not there when I go back 2 1/2 hours later.
