I definitely had a similar pair to these in the early 90's, and light up LA Gears.

****, am I in the wrong place? I thought this was the "Official Dungeons and Dragons and Magic the Gathering Discussion Thread"

Are we not discussing DnD here? Damn, I'll just be sitting over here quietly converting Idylls of the Rat King to 5e . . .

Yea dude, kitchen is a major upgrade to say the least, which is good, because I like to cook.

Speaking of the denim contest...

There is a pair of these Rag and Bone raw selvedge jeans at a Nordstrom Rack near my place. Size 32. Original tags are gone and there is the "Altered or Refinished" tag in its place, but looking at them I think they were bought, worn once and returned, inseam still seems to be original.

Marked at $45, will proxy for a beer.

^^^^ With this thread Developing in to a "Hangout". where any thrifted item bought or sold counts, and we are all enjoying the banter and good times? things will go super fast, we might hit it next time around.
bring on the awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, if anybody can thrift me a pair of "British Knights" in a size 11US?? I'd be grateful.

More like these....

I had a pair in the 90's but I'm too young to remember. They came out with a reissue not so long ago.
@Tben, Arlington Heights is still pretty far west from me, I'm in the Ravens wood/Lincoln square area now.

This is why being a woman pays off pretty well when thrifting in the men's section. People automatically assume I don't know what I'm doing (which is great!)... Also, most people think I need to look everything up on my phone. Lol. Little do they know I'm a worthy adversary.

Here's a brag I can't prove... Lol. It was last year when I was doing my normal thrifting, when I came upon a pair of Zanella's. Crazy insane pair, that they were. But what was inside the pocket was even more insane..... $1,600! They were the newer bills too. I had to take them to the bank to verify if they were real, they were! Got my husband a gun and myself a really dandy coat. That money has been spent but the pants I'll always have for treasured memories.... Or until someone gives me a good deal, lol.

WOW. I found $150 in a suit I bought at an estate sale. But $1600? That's incredible. I knew Zenella's were for pimps. But, it sounds like you found an actual Pimp's pants.

Last week I went to an estate sale and bought a bunch of old linen and cotton handkerchiefs like everyone's Grampa used to carry. They were in a smallish flat box. At the bottom wrapped in a handkerchief were 6 1920's Silver dollars. That was a fun find.

Seraphin suede work coat (?), unlined, unstructured, zzzupersmoooth. Never thought I would find stuff like this in my lil Swedish town by Fox news described as basicly run by Shariah courts (which its not..)..
