One of my better spots got in 20-30 really great classic Brooks Brothers ties and rather than hang them on the $1.99 rack they double stapled tags RIGHT THROUGH THE TIE on everyone. I was gutted, still am.

I would personally let the manager of the store know to stop destroying their clothes. Politely, of course. You would hope that the they listen to constructive feedback.

Luckily my size so I was planning on keeping anyway, but geez.

I actually winced at seeing that picture. Freakin neanderthals.

There's a place here in Chicago that uses two giant staples to keep the shoes together. They actually staple the fucking shoes together, making four very large holes in the leather in the process. I don't go to that store very often anymore.

Sup Cru!

They would not. They do not care.

...What they do care about is money, we all know that. See below.

I was in the check out line and this guy walks up with a green tinted glass vase, it was the only purchase he made for $2. He proceeds to break the always awkward check out process with "you should see this vase under a black light, it makes the coolest glow".
checkout - Oh? that's neat I never knew that
guy - Yeah, they stopped making these in like the early 30's, it's called depression glass. But yeah it's really neat. I collect different types of them and display them at home.
checkout - Oh wow, you got a deal, looks like we priced it way below what it's worth
guy - IT DOESN'T MAKE IT WORTH MORE, BY ANY MEANS, I WAS JUST TRYING TO MAKE CONVERSATION. HAVE A NICE DAY.

I was stunned how greedy these stores have become.

But I bit my lip and proceeded to find Isaia, Loro Piana Fray and Brioni the next day at the same spot. Hahaha.

Love me some justice man. That's awesome. I've been noticing that my store's racks are jam packed with things lately. Not because 'they have a lot of selection' but because a damn Hanes white T shirt is $4. The hell.

I've had experience with stapled clothes too and can testify that this isn't the case. Needles are smooth and sharp, causing a separation in the fibres as it goes through..staples on the other hand are wide and jagged as they actually break off from the others as they are dispensed. As they are forced through the fabric, they tear and snag making a real mess, especially on fine fabrics.
