That's what I thought, too. BUT I had interstate put a battery in it and it didn't work.  So, I brought it to a watch repairman that has done work recently and he put a battery in it but the light on it was the only thing that worked.  In fact, the light stayed on.   I know working models are money, but I am not sure what to do with one that only partially works.

Well it looks like finding a pair of Alden shell boots in my size is going to be a harder feat than anticipated....got my eye on a pair of AE shell chukkas instead since I'm impatient.

@nobleprofessor that band is very similar to "bonklip" bands that do indeed go for some serious coin.

This is news to me lol Do people actually wear shoes with locks on them? This is what makes the thread amazing, another opportunity to learn

Man, the way you guys talk up shell cordovan, I'm bummed that there really aren't any women's shoes made of the stuff. Nor am I likely to find men's shoes in a size I can wear (women's 6). :(

I found my first (genuine) Barbour yesterday: plaid flannel shirt.

Here are a few recent finds (just dug up and photographed for listing next week:)

Patagonia Alpiniste sweater, probably vintage 80s:

Vintage Eddie Bauer canvas and leather bag. Cannot ID. Nothing like it on eBay or Google:

Awesome ScottEVest for the wired-in techie types:
