as crimes go, stealing from a thrift seems like its own punishment. the world can be a pretty sad, small place. far be it from me to judge.

Thread is killing it. And killing me.

Pocket watch. TBA

Model 1883 American Waltham Watch Co (c 1888)

My Great great great grandfather carried it for 49 years and always kept it in the case, and that is quite evident.

Awesome heirloom! I have my great-grandpa's watch, too. These things are priceless.

Completely depends on the person stealing. If it's someone who has no money and needs a coat for winter, I'm a-okay with them stealing a coat from a thrift store. I was at a Savers in minneapolis the other day when I guy grabbed a coat and a couple sweaters and walked out quickly. The employees just watched him hustle out and I heard one (i assume the manager) say "don't follow him. he needs that more than we do."

Let's start this week with a bang and set the tone for the rest of the week.

Forget the name - but those are abundant all over Marshalls and TJ Maxx. Decent for personal - slightly below Bosca, not close to Trafalgar.

Alfred Dunhill? Just a guess, would be a seldom-used logo for them. That's just what came to mind.

How many of you have established that one store on your route where it's acceptable to take a dump? When on vacation in Atlanta I came across a real gem. Nice and clean. I forget the name of the store but based on the other stops I made it was definitely the place you wanna be if and when the unthinkable happens.
