Back from vacation ... hit the local places and came up with two NWT Robert Grahams, one NWT Southern Tide ls shirt, and from GW a Brioni which might work with a little Oxy and a nice Vineyard Vines polo shirt.

Today was an interesting day for bow ties. And some other stuff. Still working on pics, but here are some highlights.

Beau Ties Vermont

Turnbull

Vintage BB

Vintage Sulka and Hermes. Still trying to decide if real or not, but very vintage judging from the tags.

Some RT

Carrot & Gibbs

Kuyban. Couldn't find too much on this brand, but thought they were pretty cool

Pierre Hardy

So much hotness this weekend, I know people got stuff to trade. Tried a new photography setup, but I think I like the toss on ground and snap method more. Easier, colors seem to come out better, and gonna tossem down anyway to shoot labels. Valet was thrifted of course. Burb 40

Usually leave Facconable without a second thought, but this one fits and has some deetz - riri zips, throat latch, etc. Need to check back for missing zip in liner.

D&G 38, with that soft fabric I like

Ridiculously nice Saks 40 DB overcoat, not content tags but feels like cash/wool

No labels but ~40. Looking for a reason to justify keeping this, besides looking awesome in it.

Spring lamb, 38

Su Misura DB tux, maybe 44-46.

Hit an estate sale today - nothing worth posting, just non-clothing stuff for self.

Went to local GW on way home, and while there I heard a thunderous crash right behind me - I ducked thinking someone had knocked over a shelf of glassware or something.  Employees start yelling "Code 16!  Code 16!"  More employees come running.  People shouting.  I'm like - WTF - someone's having a heart attack or something.  I turn around - nope - two women are beating the shit out of each other.  I wish I'd had the presence of mind to start recording on my phone, but it didn't last very long.  Never seen that before in any thrift, let alone in my dinky little town which is pretty laid back.

Went to Waffle House for Eggs & Cheese.  Still never had a waffle at Waffle House.

$275 OBO for NIb Alden shell is a potentially killer deal

Should I have left this at the thrift store today?

The laziness and ineptitude in that listing title is mind boggling. Too narrow for me but nice find.

So funny and exciting story for me Over the last week....
Noticed a friend at church last week with a nice suit on...

Asked him about it and it was brioni...

He then told me he's got a billionaire friend who just gives him his old stuff that he doesn't want... That suit was one the guy didn't want to dry clean! So we get to talking about high end clothes and he's talking about all this stuff like brioni tux and loads of zeg he's been given. We talk menswear and I tell him about thrifting etc... Fun convo with someone I've known for at least a few years and had no idea he knew anything about.
So this week he shows up and says oh hey I've got something for you in the car... Pulls out a trash bag and says I went through my closet and there's some pants I wanted to get rid of. I'm thinking best case scenario some zanella pleated or maybe brooks but still very nice of him.....instead this is what it was.

St croix, zanella x 2, zegnotex, loro piana, zeg x 3, brioni x 2!!!

I know that's not a big deal for a lot of you guys but since I've not even found pants in half of those brands and the fact that they all fit I'm gonna say for me this was a mini giftening!
