I actually ended up talking to the home owner, and he was willing to budge. Ended up with all five pairs of limited edition braces. The Patagonia/Arcteryx, plus that sport coat, fit me... Tough choices.

Didn't you do this on the last thread too? Definitely made the right choice over the estate sale.

Start off with a couple cheap e-purchases, LP is N/A - claimed by girlfriend very quickly..

Highly unstructured, slim Cucinelli I was hoping would fit - too slim for me sadly..

LP - 100% cashmere

Then the estate sale grabs:

Two of them have this stamp on the back which I haven't seen before:

Some synchilla and Arcteryx in my size:

I did that on October 27, 2012. But it was 250 belts, not 130, so whatevs lol.

Just before Sandy. I measured belts and shot them with all the battery life my camera could muster before it gave out as we lost power for a week straight.

Man, look at my Kops in that post, I've come a long way. And one like on it woo hoo!

nice finds. The braces are what I really wanted out of that sale. Calvin Curtis designed most of the limited edition braces, those are the best ones. The preview of those was what made me want to go, Im glad they went to someone who knows what to do with them! @Shanejosephxxx you kopped too? I'm sorry I didnt go, would have been great to meet you guys.

We were both joking about looking for a Maserati or Ferrari when we pulled up. They were talking about a guy who called them in advance saying that he wanted to buy all the clothes they had before the sale - thought it could have been you. Was lot of unvented, white label Giorgio Armani, some theory shirts, couple Hugo Boss, one David Chu SC - which was awesome, but had a stain.

Grabbed a Patagonia snap and an RRL sweater. Besides the stuff @bpk1 posted there was only a few other ok things. I'm sure we will all be in the same place eventually smile.gif

Was it a bad move leaving a Patagonia synchilla vest with a corporate logo for $5?
