my understanding is that the original factory #s were 1-digit, and then they went to 3-digits when they expanded production. can you show a good pic of the button back and just for kicks the back of the rivets too?

the 501z was the original version of this jean, and they kept making em through the 60s but they called it the 502, just a 501 with a zipper instead of button fly. i've never seen a pair of these before, i think they should have care instructions stamped on the pocket bag? these look like they've been washed once from here - super dark. corner a date and then use 501 comps to figure out what to ask. to me these are a harder to find version of a big E 501.

they look like a great modern size and fabulous shape. really a nice find.

Woowww you were on the money with the wash instructions being printed on the pocket bag. Super grateful for the info @double00! shocked and at the same time I shouldn't be as the thrift thread has specialist for everything. Here are some more pics the backside of the rivets seem to be the same the front just silver. Apologies for the quality but the maybe I'm wrong about the backside of the button it looks more like an exclamation point and a 5?

Man today work was a bitch, and I needed to decompress. So I hit the thrift after work, and damn did I decompress.

I started off by pulling these, which are something I have been after ever since I let a pair of Big Whites pass.

GA Black Label Limited edition Wool/Silk jeans. Really about a 35wx29, which fit me just slightly too large, but damn are they comfortable. Retail on these is somewhere in the 850-900$ range unless Im mistaken.

Its a Tweed.

Also I think I might hold onto this one. Somehow it came through the Thrift Hole.

NWT Lillehammer games turtleneck. Will add this to my collection of random olympic memorabilia. Made in Norway oddly enough.

To round out this outing I also snagged:

Recent Canali Suit s110s, Oxxford Navy Flannel, BBGF Blazer, BBCC blazer, an Eton Gangster shirt, and a couple other random things.

I feel better now. Whiskey helped too.

Hugo Boss wool/cashmere knit/blazer? It fits me perfect, and I dig it.

Ties.
The two at the top-left are "Royal Classic" wool and wool/cashmere. I think that's Ted James Royal Classic? Are they sought after? The one has a $100 tag left on it from 2010. Can't tell from Ebay. I like the look of them though.

Not sure on the Versace V2 again.

My father had his first In-N-Out burger while we were in Santa Barbera last weekend. He had never heard about it prior to me pointing it out at the off-ramp. He really got a kick out of how organized they are in their process.
