$595 to clean the watch and polish it, get everything running up to speed again. Apparently its been sitting for over 30 years non running. She said it was amazing because every part was original and untouched. Seamaster, dating to the 1950s. When I get it back in about 4 weeks, Ill have the exact date of production from the movement (which is all original, every screw). replacement value - $2500.

THAT IS INCREDIBLE! Great thrift and good job finding the right watch repairman!

So, what are you doing with that good looking Timex with the alligator band?

Put a tobacco ostrich strap on it and wear the fuck out of it.

Nothing too spectacular, but highlights from the past 2 days:

Ties. Definitely the thickest PRL I've come across.

More Italian polos.

A few SCs. (Zegna is a little dated but 100% cash. Sammy is 10% cash.)

Some meh fodder. Fleece is MIUSA at least.

PRL suede Harrington. My first leather kop, and it was actually cheap! Silk/linen flat front trousers. No piss stains.

I feel pretty good about the Versace, but just in case, here are he deets:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Cool! Another first. There was another one with it that was sadly worn through to the lining at the corners.

I found some good stuff today and was ecstatic when I found these at my last stop. After looking around on the internet a guide says these only fetch $60. The few on ebay at the moment don't seem to me true vintage. Anyone ever had a pair of these? 502/Big E/scovil zipper/I think the back of the button says 15 or 16?
