Not only do they sell pretty well, but I have a few that I wear that I really like!  Some of them are substantial and thick and aren't so prone to snagging as some of the very expensive ties we all love to thrift.

I'm like 40 pages behind.  Sorry for a bunch of responses today!

When you find out this weekend is by appointment only and is booked solid and reserved strictly for high end collectors and their best personal clients, you get bummed. Knowing the good shit will be gone when it's open to public next weekend leaves you with no option but to get in there this weekend somehow. Judging by inventory, you conclude Barneys reps are involved, you text the barneys rep whose number you have to confirm. Confirmed. You then tell them to tell the owner of the item you want, you'll pay over asking via paypal transfer site unseen immediately if they will sell it to you that day. You pay and you pick the item up that night. And that's how you get shit done, and fuck over a shit load of appointment making, eager collectors and buyers in the process. Sorry but I'm not sorry.

Vtg 1980s Giant LV Garment/Travel Bag. Excellent Vintage condition. some superficial marks and the tan leather definitely needs a cleaning, but no staining and just natural leather patina, no distressing. Most notably and important however, every single piece of hardware, zipper toggle, rivet clasp, handle, clip, are all pristine and attached. Not bad a bad pickup for Thursday night past 9 oclock.

If I would have found that bag, I would have been like:

I have been dying to use this picture for a few days.  This is my son and obviously he was very excited about his pancakes!   He is only 4.  Don't you wish that getting fun decorated pancakes could make you this excited!

Also, because this is Lent (and in light of my avatar on here), I thought I would share something I thought was funny.

How not to deal with people who cut in line or jump on the rack in front of you...

I don't know, given the line for merchandise that I saw there on Snapchat, and that those shirts probably weren't cheap to begin with, I can't imagine it would have been worth the profit. Could be wrong

Some of the local stores got a big donation of the leftover inventory from the Shades of Grey sample sale. One of the ladies at the store saw me looking at the inventory on the floor and she took me in the back and let me pick out a few more things.

Twice a year at that specific location, their S/S samples and their A/W samples. And it usually works out that the very last piece is hanging on the rack right when they pull up with the truck of the new stuff. Shits like clockwork.

Edit: I don't recall issuing a hood pass for this location...

I've seen legit stuff from that colab before, so it might be something...why did you assume fake?

I get so many looks when I'm changing shoes at work, both in the morning and at the end of the day.

Here in CLE, it's f***ing cold, and salty, and mushy. You expect me to, like these high paid doctors, wear my dress shoes out in this crap?

"Why do you change your shoes"

"Why do you keep your dress shoes here"

"What are those wooden things you put in your shoes at night"

"You have more than 1 pair of dress shoes, why"

I can't even most days.
