Wait, we're supposed to pick up Honda Civics we find for $25?

It has a hole on the front left side.

Glad you like it though!

Thrift fit -

Woolrich shadow plaid jacket, C21, about $75
100% baby alpaca scarf, Cusco, Peru, $3 (huge too, about 80" long and soft as fuck)

and a few meager finds today

large alligator bowling bag
RRL selvedge
Oakleys
Quoddy

RRL is N/A but I have a question - they fit me wonderfully, just a bit big in the waist. If I put my hands in the pockets and push down, they slide down. Im sure if I washed them they would shrink up, but the previous dude was obviously a denim head and they are crisp and feel unwashed. What should I do? Suck it up and just wear a belt or wash them to get them to fit better? I really don't want to sell them, they fit great except the waist.

Just soak RRL in hot water and hang to dry.... Or put on when damp for better custom fit.

Thats it? How long to soak?

I know shit about denim and maintenance BTW.

my $.02 on those denimz, try not to put em on when wet. i'll do this if i'm convinced that they might shrink too much but if you need em tightened just put em in hottest tap water - no soap - until the water cools is fine. yes hang dry. inside out, don't agitate. if you feel like the measurements are blown past your waist then do throw em on until they start to dry and then you can hang the rest of the way.

there's a tendency for jeans to bag up, especially at the seat and knees if you wear em wet. they'll conform just fine over time anyways.

they probably say if sanforized or not on the care tag and you'll get a sense of what will happen. good luck!
