Google and Yelp

I'm genuinely surprised about the NATO love in here. People actually want NATOs on Omega gold dress watches?! Baffles my mind.

Oh cool I never thought of that. I'm sure blind searching and the advise of people who review thrift stores is the best way to find them.

I'm just not sure why someone would give up their spots.

I like them too.  But, not on that watch.  They look cool on vintage Timex or Seiko.  But, that's just my opinion.   I love watches. I don't have many, but I haven't been wearing one because I got a FitBit.  So, my opinion probably lacks some credibility.  I did see a Tudor (Rolex) tank style watch today that I would LOVE to have.

I will also admit (and I'm sure I will be shamed for admitting this), but I used to have and wear a fake Rolex.  It was a submariner and it was the best fake I have ever seen.  It was just a tad lighter than a real Rolex.  I left it in a hotel room when I was out of town.  When I went back the people working there claimed they didn't find it.

I don't really care if people know where I thrift. There's tons of stuff. I'm not there all day. I'm sure they put out tons of cool shit I never see so I don't care who else buys it.

^ I found those pants at TJ Maxx today. $60 was too rich for my blood though.

Agree. Thick auto dive watches look good with NATOs. Thinner watches like that need a leather band.
