He probably used another listing as a template and forgot to change the brand. I've done this before mistakenly.

That seller does that on many of his listings. Corneliani listed as Brioni on the brand specifics, etc. I think it is just to get extra views on his listings. A bit annoying because when I search Oxxford I don't need to see Samuelsohn, but his products are nice regardless.

He actually resides a few minutes away from me. I sold him a sport coat only to see it listed in his store for 4 times as much a couple weeks later. Always nice to see my items go to a good home

This guy has a Sammy suit listed with Oxxford as the brand.  http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-2015-SAMUELSOHN-Soft-Solid-Earthy-Gray-100-Wool-Sport-Coat-50L-1095-/222012868841?

AND he has two BB Tuxes (identified as MG) listed as Oxxford.

Either keyword spamming, or honest mistake by using the "sell similar" button.  I put in "IF YOU'RE SEEING THIS I FORGOT TO PUT IN THE DETAILS" in my templates under the brand, makes it really easy to spot when I forgot to put in the specifics... and yet I still miss a couple.

Well, I sent him a message asking about it because it is very nice and I wear a 50L.  But, in my valuation a Samuelsohn shouldn't command such a high price.  A NWT Oxxford will get that much.  I don't want to be one of those people that emails a seller and tells them the price is too high.  But, I also don't think a seller should market something with a superior brand name.  I'm all about key words.  I just sold a WW Chan and I made sure to use Zegna (because it used Zegna fabric) as a keyword.  And I even understand the people that list a Tom James suit and use Oxxford as a keyword because there is some actual relationship between the two.  But, I can't list a Jos A. Bank and call it a BB.

Yeah, it is easy to feel that way. Also, at the same time I understand it is just business. I thrifted it for $8 and sold it for $85 (or whatever the price was) He's welcome to try and make his money.

To anyone familiar with Hickey Freeman production, which producers in Italy is making their trousers for them? They've got a similar blue on white stripe lining that makes me think of incotex. But the construction on these is fucking magical.

I ended up purchasing it today for 30% off, which makes it the most expensive item I've ever bought at a thrift store. It keeps correct time, though I know the date mechanism doesn't work. Now I just need to get it fixed and change out this horribly dated band.

Also picked up today:
Bergdorf Goodman house label cashmere sweater. Saddle shoulder. Crewneck. Made in Scotland. NA. I've been wanting/needing a navy cashmere sweater for years and this fits perfectly. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Don't do this ^

(sorry)

A watch like that just would not look good dressed down with a NATO. It's almost an insult to something so refined. Compliment its classic lines with a quality brown croc leather 2-piece with gold clasp. Something like this:

Seamaster is a dive watch, no? I wouldn't put no leather on that. Steel rubber or nato.

And yes I know he's not gonna dive with it, I'd stick with a model-appropriate palette regardless. It's a sport watch. OK I'm done weighing in on what other people should do lol. Imo for you pedants.
