These things are hurting my feet!  They feel sturdy and solid and even look good. But, one is rubbing the shit out of my little toe.  I think my toe and the shoes are going to war!

What's the concensus about Bally shoes?  Are these bragworthy?  I'm wondering if I shouldn't put them back on ebay.

I guess this sort of qualifies as a thrift fit.  I e-thrifted the shoes, the pants are the trousers from a Burberry Suit I thrifted (for $8) and I'm wearing a BB shirt thrifted for $4.  I think the socks were a gift.

Those look nice. Have you tried shoe stretchers? You know, the kind with the nubs that you can place where you want the leather to stretch. I picked up a pair for such occasions and they've worked quite well for me, as long as I use a decent amount of leather conditioner/lotion etc.

Haven't posted any finds for a while.  I've been spending a lot of time in St. Louis over the past couple months for personal reasons - here's a picture dump of random things I've picked up from the other side of Missouri.

Most items are already / going to be listed or are in my closet, but PM me if you see anything you can't live without.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Styling is certainly dated, but when a store donates display models to a thrift I'll kop at $5 a pair all day.

Don't remember, I've blocked it out. Too painful. Way less than I was willing to pay. Probably under $100.

I'm starting to go by the marshalls close to where I live.
i've tried getting a BBBF sport coat that was almost at 10% of retail.
There were 3 BBBF sport coats. I shied away from buying them all.
But I sold the one I purchased for 40/50% of retail in less than month!

... Sadly when i went back to marshalls, there were no BBBF anymore. Dang...

BTW: one thing I've noticed is that in the store I go to, is that the high end SC/suit (Brioni, Kiton, Isaia, Zegna etc..) get their button set picked from the inner pockets :/
I noticed very few jackets still had them inside. I guess people steal them frown.gif
I was lucky with mine, buttons were still there!

The other day I almost pulled the trigger on a PRL made in Italy beige SC in Linen. $90 (tags says retail @ $650). Would you guys kop?

Late to the game on this one, but here's another label "knock-off". Not exact, but pretty dang close.
