The official thrift/discount store bragging thread - Part II (Return to the Thunderdome) - Page 1827

Have not been posting, but have been thrifting a lot.

My first Poole! Fits nicely, but too yacht club for me.

Peal & Co

Grenson

First vintage denim I've encountered that doesn't fit vintage! She's a beauty but a bit too tight at 14.5

Thought I'd fire off a few photos before seminar today.

Good luck today gentlemen!

Any recs? Thrift, consignment, or otherwise. I'm sure I'll do fine with Google but any tips are greatly appreciated.

if you want to ensure success head up to Santa Monica - Wasteland will have some interesting things.  There are probably 3-4 smaller thrift stores you can find with just a quick google search.

I would grab some food at either Gjelina Take Away or Gjusta in Venice, along with a coffee at Blue Bottle on Abbot Kinney too.

Those are dope Impuntura. Crazy good condition by the looks of it. They sell in the 75-175 range though.

Was going to grab some when they came out in 08 or so but never got around to it.

Will do. Took some pics last night. It's really small and didn't fit on my mannequin so I had to try to get creative with it. I'll try to get them up tonight if I have a chance.

Be safe in the snow, east coasters. Don't try to drive when it's obvious you can't get anywhere and don't have a heart attack when shoveling. (Winter tip: sledding is still fun)
