Guessing it's...
42, 36x31.

My size!

I think @Jompso was referring to Sulka, not St. Andrews.

Yea that's been their name for a while now and as far as I know they are very much still in business, in fact they definitely are, still making RLPL suits even though their tag isn't in them anymore. But Sulka is the brand that closed up in 2001 not St. Andrews.

Pre-RRL, correct?

polo country sort of became rrl, that is quite old, so pre- pre-rrl

Finally found some Barbour. Wish it was a jacket, but maybe one will surface in the racks.

Ahhh, sorry, my misunderstanding. I'd always kinda assumed Sulka closed long before 2001.

recentissimo I would say. Its got the highest gorge I've ever seen on an oxxford. And their stuff had low gorges even 5-6 years ago.  I yield to the more knowledgeable.

I think past 5 years. The 1220 is a relatively recent line.

The line was introduced in 2011, so no older than 5 years, but by the looks of this tag, I'd say this dates closer to it's inception, probably 2011-2012

The reason for the high gorge is the same reason for the 1220 line in the first place. It's a diffusion line, with a slimmer, more contemporary silhouette/cut/fit, still great quality, however is lacking in various aspects compared to the highest level line, all in efforts of most likely reaching the demographic Oxxford mainline doesn't, the young and more trend conscious. Price is also about 1,500-2,000 less than an OTR mainline suit, about 2,500+ less than a MTM.

So I was right, but for the wrong reason.

I'll have to ponder if it would have been better to be wrong.

Any other UK members NEVER find any shoes at all? I've scoured many many charity shops and vintage stores and nobody stocks shoes, let alone any high quality ones. Do we just culturally throw them away? Part of me guesses that because the weather is so bad here, most decent shoes will be destroyed and thus thrown away. Shame.

By the way - does Orvis stuff actually sell? I've come across quite a few casual jackets in my time but never bothered. There's a pretty nice Harrington jacket in one of the local shops right now.

I find a few shoes but not many, about 8 or 9 in the last 5 months, 1 eg boots(best find ever), 1 barker beautiful longwings fit and kept, loake chesters, red wing chukkas wabasha, mcnairy brogues, grenson suede archies, dr marten windsor brogue boot, church chelsea boot italy, cole haan collection derby, alfred sargent brogue boot(only one that was pretty knackered).

Hmm, i'm the same with Orvis, i saw a new bush safari shirt for £10 but left it due to doubt in demand.
