Personal Grail today

Current/Elliot Men's med weight henley with button cuffs. I have been coveting this shirt for a long ass time, and I've only seen 3 before since they are samples. Fits perfectly. Under 20$ too, so I was super stoked. Planning to wear it tomorrow.

(I think) I remember Spoo finding Polo alligator belts just labeled as leather....are you saying the one I posted was just a cow stamped to look like some rougher beast? (Total belt noob, sorry).
I wouldn't say that would never happen, but especially with the bigger makers like Polo, Trafalgar, Mezlan, Allen Edmonds, Ben Silver, etc..., it's going to be labeled as Alligator. What you have is called embossed leather, and you described it perfectly. Regular ole cow leather pressed to look like a crocagator.

Only sometimes. Have to be in the right mood. This past week I was sitting on my parents front porch staining some crown molding blasting 80's/90's Punk Rock, and metal in a quiet suburban neighborhood.

Damn those Scandinavians sure can come up with some amazing sounds though.

I have a story to share. You guys are just about the only people I know who would appreciate it. I started working in a ****** contract to hire position about 3 months ago for a huge fortune 100 company. I got my bachelor's in teaching and got my license and everything, but buying and selling clothes on ebay and this here thrift thread we have going on, made me change my mind and decide that I wanted to go into business. That plus after student teaching in the ghetto I realized I didn't really like teenagers all that much. Anyway, I start working in this position with the understanding that my contract is 6 months long and I can get hired on sometime after 3 months. After training I meet my new manager and we didn't exactly click right away. Everyone else who came on as contractors seemed to get along with him better and I never figured out why. Anyway, on one casual Friday I was wearing some cheap beater Cone denim raws made by Flint and Tinder. My boss was walking by my cubicle and stopped to ask me what kind of jeans I'm wearing. The brand is "Flint and Tinder" I said. "Are they selvedge?" he said. Now, I've been wanting someone to ask me that for about 3 years now. I didn't even have any selvedge ID showing, he just knew. Anyway, after that, he started messaging me every day. He said he was looking into buying new jeans and that he was looking into LVC or APC. I suggested 3Sixteen or Left Field at that price point. He told me he used to flip sneakers, and I told him about my eBay store. Now I don't know if there's a direct correlation here, but I was offered a full time position last week at exactly 3 months and 1 day into my contract. I like to think that all of that helped. Today he walked by and told me he's going with the 3Sixteen ST-120x, which is clearly better than the APC's he was leaning towards before I think.

I can't wait for this to happen to me.

Things are gonna change, I can feel it.

Sturgeon cuffs. That's what they are, right? For fish mongers to roll up their sleeves and dig into the fishes?

Fun fact, Sturgeon cuffs were actually invented in the olden days for folks who wished to go noodling and not mess up their jacket sleeves Of course, with the advent of biz-caz, we are left with this.
