I went to an estate sale that I thought might generate some of these awesome finds that have been posted the last few days.
Instead I found an Oxxford Suit and a nice Oxxford Cashmere SC. Both good finds in my book. But, so much lower than my expectations.
One thing that shocked the hell out of me was this house. It was insane. It isn't my taste and its hard to see in these crappy pictures. But, these folks spent some serious money decorating the way they wanted to.
This was a room off the kitchen and off the master bedroom.
This next picture is the same room with a view into the kitchen
This is the kitchen below. Yes, really its the kitchen.
The tons of naked bulb lights screwed up the pictures.
Below is a view in the same room. This is not a mirror. It is glass that looks into the master bedroom.
Here is the Master Bedroom
BUT, something I found has me VERY interested.
SO, Furniture guys, I need an opinion.
I found 3 side tables that are allegedly made by Jens Risom. A Sandanavian designer who created Danish Modern furniture. When I googled him, I was pretty amazed.
Here are the three tables:
And here a listing for one just like it (or similar)
One thing I am concerned about it is that there is no maker's mark. But, I haven't been able to find ANY of his stuff that has a mark.
Should I be going back for these. They were about $500 each. There may be a discount tommorrow. Do I need to get there as soon as they open and buy these OR does anyone want me to proxy them for someone?
The seller had printed off a listing (which I can't find) where the same table was for sale for $3200.
