I have this one spot that I cannot quite figure out what to do. Obviously it will take several pieces to complete the decor, but I am not even sure where to start.  My main concern is dusting whatever it is once it is hung.

Any ideas? The drop is roughly 8 feet. Thinking of adding an interior window straight ahead, which will allow natural light in from two windows immediately on the other side of the wall. Of course like everything else in TGC, whatever it is, it must be thrifted, salvaged or repurposed.....Go.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Might be cliche, but, first thing that popped into my mind was a vintage USA flag, the kind that Spoo finds.

By the way @capnwes, sincerely appreciate the Christmas card you sent a few weeks back. That was super thoughtful and really made me feel more of a part of this community. This thread is great, aside from a few sidebar arguments that pop up, and I go to this thread daily as a getaway. Thanks everyone.

Ugh, sorry to hear that man.

Window sounds cool Wes. Is there a thread that shows a tour? I'm all curious now

Hmm, I could do a video or something. Later though, still in the midst of my regularly scheduled Monday morning shipping explosion.

Maybe get some vinyl decals made. I'm thinking something like this.

First thing that popped into my mind was a flag too, though any kind of hanging artwork would work there. Of course, I'm also on board for vinyl double Macklemore decals.

Don't forget it's 3 walls, not just the far wall.

I like the flag as an idea. However, while I am not unpatriotic by any sense of the word, it is not really my taste of decor.

I'm thinking I may hang some of my guitars on the side walls, at reachable heights. I have 20 or so, so that would cover a lot of that area.

Also, the David Bowie news has been hitting me kind of hard this morning. If anyone here has never really listened to Ziggy Stardust, Hunky Dory, Low, Young Americans, etc., type 'David Bowie style' into google image search and hit play on just flip through pictures for a while. The world lost such an incredible being yesterday.

His new album is bizarre and phenomenal also. Glad he got one last full length out.

@vexco any recs for getting that style of comfy jogger sweat style pants? I need some for lounging and studying.

Also, the astor and black stuff is awesome. Definitely pick up if it's in your size. My favorite jacket was thrifted and made by them. Almost wanted to message the guy who it was made for on fb to ask if he was getting rid of more lol.

Cap Wes

How about a series of photos or fashion magazine covers in frames you thrift.
