Hey @Nataku
 whassis?

Cool find but don't think it's anything special resale-wise. Korea-era combat trousers. Getting harder to find stuff that old so neat to see.

As for me, I probably had the worst thrift luck in a long time the past couple days. Struck out hard. Stores were packed with people and racks were bare. Tomorrow starts another week. Hoping to have better luck. We'll see.

Thanks Nat! I usually pass on generic stuff but the "sateen" tag wasn't something I'd seen before. Figure I've got a few more misses after my Mexican camo hits that I can afford.

I was thrifting southern MN this weekend. 50% off both days here as well. yah. Things were pretty picked over. I did find 11 flippable pairs of jeans though at least and another army cold weather camo parka.

Finally listed and sold this bad boy within 24 hours. I'm getting towards the bottom of my stash. That is a good thing.

That's pretty cool. Not too much resell value though maybe you can get 70 if you are patient.

That's super cool. If you want to pass it along, let me know.

Only frou frou fogs need sweaters... I saw only one dog yesterday wearing a sweater, and it was one of those little football sized dogs, wearing a Broncos sweater. It was Sunday, after all...

I'm wearing a Goretex shell over a fleece jacket. It was actually too warm for the extra layer.

nice square, i leave mine on but don't think it particularly matters

Thanks. I'll probably just leave it as is. Lazy man's option. Though I do have a few tie labels I need/want to re-tack, so maybe I'll get motivated and do this as well.

This was a NMLC find + 40% off.

Rehashing another old question: Shrinking a cashmere sweater.

I am planning to hand wash in warm/hot water, the block dry. I want to avoid the dryer if possible. Should that get me about a size of shrinkage?

Not sure about cashmere but I've done that to a wool sweater. That thing shrunk up like a pair of old witches' titties.
