Happy Holidays gang.

Been a while since I've posted here so figured I'd share.

I thrifted some old shell AE Cambridges in my size earlier this year, which I wore fairly regularly.  I sent them in for a full recraft three weeks ago and requested a natural edge instead of black.  Kind of incongruent since the lighter edge is on a burgundy cordovan balmoral, but I think they turned out great -

Unfortunately (read: not unfortunate and a good problem to have), these will most likely pad the fund I used to buy these color 8 LWB Aldens before Christmas -

Thrifting is fun.

Oh my happy holidays I've been gone a couples tha due to life and end of year things but have spent the holidays skipping Netflix and instead binge reading this thing... Finally caught up! Congrats to spoo on buying a seemingly amazing store which boggles my mind on how U can't make it with an inventory like that. Also on your Ronald McDonald donation. I know when we were in the hospital for 3 months with my sons three brain surgeries that was a lifesaver. Also great finds ejay and Jompso. It was also awesome to watch the thriftmas unveiled loads of fun can't wait till next year to join. Another huge shout out also to snoogz... Love the charity and compassion of that guy. Thanks again for all you guys do to contribute to out knowledge. On my phone so I'm gonna post pics I a separate post.

A couple is recent thrift finds.

A big E Trucker jacket type 3

Made in Macau. Notice the French on the tag as well as CA # 00342

Number 350 stamped on the back of buttons.

After some researching I have found out that this jacket was made for the Canadian market in Macau the #350 stamped on the back of the buttons means it was produced in Macau. Numbers starting with a 5 are made in a USA factory. French being on the label makes sense since it is one of the official languages of Canada. CA # 00342 lookup came back to Levis Canada. If any of you have any information you can add that would be greatly appreciated.

I also came across this 1992 world series signed baseball. Toronto Blue Jays vs Atlanta Braves. The thrift store still had it in a plastic baseball holder.

Turns out the signature is from Roberto Alomar. Of course I cannot be sure it is genuine unless I have it authenticated but it looks very similar to other examples I have seen.

Thanks for looking.

CLOSET CLEANING

plus i don't think i ever posted these here, so also brag

Grenson. Fit my typical 10.5D foot.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Sulka shearling lined. No size marked, but fit my 10.5D foot, a little snug so maybe better for a 10D
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

No size again. Appear to be custom. Tight on my 10.5D foot, so probably best for 9.5D.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Roy jeans. Bought from a forum member that claimed they were a prototype (hence no embroidery on inside pocket). All the details are there, so I saw no reason to doubt. Actually found the corresponding model at SelfEdge back then, too. Not really into bootcut anymore, so these should go to someone that will wear them.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Waist: 32.5"
Rise: 10.75"
Inseam: 35.5"
Thigh: 22"
Ankle: 16"

AND HUGE SHOUTOUT TO SPOOPOKER FOR THIS AMAZING TSHIRT

Rehashing an old question:

Should I remove the care tag here, retack it, or let nature run its course (it will probably fall off eventually)?

Denim heads, need some advice. Im looking for a pair (selvedge and raw). For quality level, I'm looking for what you would probably refer to as beaters. The problem is I need something with a roomy seat and thigh but slim or tapered below the knee. My current go to pair is a pair of Flint & Tinder classic fit, but they are just too tight in the seat and thigh (not waist). Tagged size is probably 34x32 (actual waist diameter in that ~17.5" range). Any advice?

I have this issue as well. I'd recommend a pair of N&F weirdguy cut or Tellason ladbroke groves. Both are affordable. If you were looking for better I'd say maybe 3sixteen SL cuts. They're not very straight. Roomy in the top, slimmer down bottom.

Wait, so you have big thighs and chicken legs below? I like the fit of Gustin's straight leg fit, but I have relatively large calves and cannot wear anything with a tapered leg (that I have discovered yet).

I, too, have this problem but have found iron heart 777 should fit me in that department. Waiting for a pair to fall into my lap.
