@PLaydice @California Dreamer @Nobleprofessor is this a thing? 100% full deadstock 1993 launch edition of Polo Sport. Literally brand new.

I know full new bottles of Polo Sport sell for good money on ebay (between $50 and $80). I would think that you could really push the fact that this is first issue and drive the price even higher!

God this thing took a horrible picture for being so awesome. The shoulders on my size 40 mannequin were not manly enough to hold this thing. Tags were ripped out, but from experience, I know it's Astor & Black. Anyone here a professional football player? These shoulders are massive.

Ummm, 50L former football player here. No tag, but what are the measurements?

That's like the guy that just hops onto the rack about 5 shirts in front of me. The thrifting tribunal says that's punishable by death

I have to admit I do that IF the person is moving very slowly and doesn't appear to be a pro and ONLY when I have finished the other rack and the one they are on is my next target.

You know the people I am talking about. They pick up each item (even if you can tell from 6 feet away that its a turd) and they study it and think about it all while I have flipped through 25 things in the same time.

I've had success getting shirts and cotton trousers cleaned up using a variation on 'the Method'. Do folks use it to deal with, er, you know, staining on trouser lining? How do you avoid contact with the wool? Or is there some other way.

Obviously, I could just stop buying trousers with piss stains but why would I do that?

I've made an oxyclean paste, turned the pants inside out and left the paste on the lining spot being careful to not get on the pants themselves. Worked great at least once.

Paging @GMMcL. I think he did a big experiment on trouser stains a while ago.

It is a kind of question to japan's consumer culture, asking what really is "luxury" in life. and just a bit funky too.
