Step out for a couple of days and @Jompso , @TheODGuy , and @ejay1 just blow my mind. Nice work.

After a relatively dry spell I found some good shiz today. Passed on quite a bit today and the only thing I'm regretting a little is an Aigle black women's jacket (was in the mens section) for £7 but it didn't have the belt that goes with it. Think I made the right choice.

Oh and I went back for that Lanvin Paris suit (made in Italy) and got the price knocked down as there is a slight stain in the crotch. No biggie. Does anyone have a tired and tested solution to get pee out of the lining?

Pics later, naturally.

Next are from a home downsizing sale. Most everything was at thrift prices aside from the coats which were I guess at low consignment prices (~$30).

They priced old label Boss and old Armani stuff higher. After a little haggling, I was able to get a number of items thrown in free (including the RLPL leather jacket since it has some dark spots on the back) and with a final discount off the whole bill.

I probably left behind over half the wardrobe- a lot of which was older label zegna, and the rest recent label but with monogrammed initials on the chest. Sadly, there were over 20 very recent label Zegna suits/sport coats which they priced higher and wouldn't come down to thrift prices so I left those (and anyway about half were su misura with his name on the label). Holy cow.

I don't know anything about the 'Gaviota' brand, but 'gaviota' means 'seagull' in Spanish.

Re: the Loro Piana Storm System jacket w/o a liner? I'd probably buy that regardless, list at a happy price, and wait for the right buyer to come along. I'm absurdly pleased with the Faconnable LP coat I bought yesterday. I don't know how somebody managed to shrink a men's Small so that *I* can wear it, without the zipper being rippled and other major problems, but that's some seriously luxurious stuff. You just want to pet it. And it does what coats are supposed to do, not just look good.

Can someone tell me what kind of suede skin this is? I got this without label. The thing weights a ton.
