Found this today while out and about.

^^Very nice!

Found a couple interesting items amongst the meh this afternoon:

The 10th year one is American apparel and is ok, the 13th is really well made, but no maker ID at all, just this.

A few random finds from the last week or two.

Tommy Hilfiger - can't find anything like this at all on eBay. The 'flags' are stitched from pieces of ripstop nylon. They are part of the shirt, not appliques (except on the back).

Lotta Jansdotter.  A hood that is also a scarf.

Ralph Lauren Golf: 100% cashmere with silk scarf overlay.

1960s (?) REI jacket. Has a lot of flaws; need some repairs. Estate find.

Is Brooks the same as Brooks Brothers? This cabbie hat has issues with the sweatband inside. Nice quality felt.

In this case, Brooks is not Brooks Brothers.

I hate how Apple puts the obnoxious "YEAR" on the back of their WWDC jackets. The front pocket logos are great. But guys... keep it subtle. No way would I ever wear a giant "13" around (especially through the Mission, haha). Basically ensures thousands of jackets are donated rather than worn for years as a cool souvenir.

N/a

oh shit.  I'm sorry to hear about your bathroom.   What happened?  Plumbing failure or flooding like rain/rivers, etc?  Anything covered by insurance?

If its an insurance issue, don't take the insurance company's opinion without confirming it.   They must provide a denial of coverage in writing and there are a number of legal hurdles/traps that could snag them.

Not sure who my sender was, but someone from the SF bay area really took my request that I would rather drink than wear my secret santa gift

nice box of Russian River favorites! Thanks sir

I have been slacking severely on my thriftmas box.  I will get it out before I go away for Christmas on Sunday though.

Another one? I think Nataku found one, before they were publicly available...

This just fell out of the wallet too!

I don't think there was ever an A mint mark.  Most either have no mark (Philadelphia prior to 1979) or S, or D.   There are a few others.

Here are the mints where coins were made and the corresponding mark.

C – Charlotte, North Carolina (gold coins only 1838-1861)
CC – Carson City, Nevada (1870-1893)
D – Dahlonega, Georgia (gold coins only 1838-1861)
D – Denver, Colorado (1906-present)
O – New Orleans, Louisiana (1838-1861/1879-1909)
P – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (1793-present)
S – San Francisco, California (1854-present)
W – West Point, New York (1984-present)

Etro

Pretty sure this first pair (if not both) are new. Still had the pouch with the spare buttons in the back pocket.

Bunch of badassery I passed on for the time, may decide to pick some up after more research. Can proxy for anyone interested, was all tagged either a 42 or 44. Prices are obviously higher (consignment not thrift) but even then if you wanted it for yourself prices are pretty fair, and still some meat if you wanted to flip. Pics suck
Warning: Etro, Isaia, and some weird patterns (Click to show)

Etro, Etro Cord, Etro Puple Plaid Cashmere, EZ, Giorgio Armani, Bizzare Green Suede Etro

Best of all was that the owner of the store struck up a conversation with me when I was leaving. Apparently the the guy who  dropped all this stuff off was there not long before I got there and he mentioned bringing another large load in just before the Kentucky Derby icon_gu_b_slayer%5B1%5D.gif

Dang, son, nice pulls. I was in there on Tuesday and none of that was there!
