Does this mean anything? Just picked up this suit and noticed Scorsese Movie on the tag.[IMG]

I believe that's a type of Hugo Boss suit

I've also found that the dimple produced with a double 4 in hand is far superior to that of a regular 4 in hand. Of course none of this applys if your shirt collar or lapels are of the small variety.

Well crap. 1930s-40s Pendleton jackets, Vtg Levi's and old workwear all gone. Large 1930s GE table fan and 1920s farm calanders all gone before I even stepped in the door. frown.gif

I had terrible estate sale luck this past year. I only went to 10-12 of them, but I don't think I bought a single item.

Dislike.

I got spoiled at the first couple I went to, walking out with Hermes, Stubbs & Wootton and such on the last day at 75% off. Not much since then. Hope to hit one tomorrow.

I have had MUCH better luck at estate sales than Thrifts lately. It's also a way sometimes to find things that are either never at the thrifts or when they are the thrift stores they sell instantly.

I'm thinking mostly of things like LeCreuset cookware, watches, jewelry, etc.

I know it depends on the tie, but are there some that are generally thicker? I have 1-2 Canali that are thick. Are there others that generally are thicker besides Canali?

Try older Lands' End ties, the made in America ones, in an XL length.

@Nobleprofessor Isaia 7-folds tie a substantial knot and have plenty of length. I'm 6'1" and find that the back blade is about 0.5" shorter than the front blade on me. Should serve you well.

It's a model, it means you bought an older Hugo Boss suit.

Guys I'm in a bind. My father (70 yrs old) wants pants for work for Christmas and I've been striking out. If anybody has some in the back log for a reasonable price let me know. Here are specs

34"-35" waist
41" outseam
Wool or wool blend dress pants
Flat front
Doesn't have to be top of line. Polo, j crew, etc will work.
Navy, Grey, charcoal and brown

This might not be the right spot. If it's not please direct me to where this should be posted. Thanks in advance

Can anyone help me out with a guess at a date or other details on this? Been digging but can't find a tag similar to this one. Much appreciated as always.
