The official thrift/discount store bragging thread - Part II (Return to the Thunderdome) - Page 1499

Low on quantity this weekend....some fodder, some stuff for me.  N/A at the moment.

Snag-free!

AE Clifton's.

Plum crazy purple.

I hate ear bud headphones, and no desire to own garish Beats...these fit the bill nicely for air travel - not too big, sound great!

I don't buy Jos A Bank, except when I do.

Surprised that MB makes their lifestyle stuff in the USA (or, some of it, at least), unlike that shitty Puma Ferrari stuff made in China.

Flawless.  Sickness.

Dear Santa. I have been a really, really, really good boy this year. So what do you say? Only $1600.

Note: I did not get this but oh it is beautiful.

WOW that LP... nod[1].gif

I'd take a low on quantity week anytime for that kind of quality... nice finds!

Is this a vicuna kiton coat new with tags? Isn't that a buy?

Well NMLC for $1600 is still a little out of my range.

Appreciate the help, as always!

I think the top is roman Emperor Vespasianus (Vespasian) and the ones below greek, looks ancient...

If Loro Piana vicuna is like $20k, Kiton has to be - what - $30k? I'm clueless on that. But dang - that would make a nice ammo bag.

I thought it was a long coat, it's a sport coat. Probably a good pass. Cool to see, I still haven't popped the vicuna cherry.

While I had to pass on the Kiton for $1600, I did have a great find today for $9. Alan Mcafee made in England, and they fit so these are a pop and I think the nicest shoes I have thrifted so far. Can I get a confirmation these are Church's?

Pretty sure that is. Two pairs i thrifted last year had the same heel and those were id'd as church's

Don't see why not - illegible but recognizable Church's mark, and the only ones I've ever found were also Church's.
