What I've found interesting of late is non-Brooks Brothers brands. Club Monaco, Ike Behar, and John Varvatos, and some completely unknown but high quality shirts the last time I was there. My assumption is that the Garland Shirt Factory, which makes BB's USA made shirts, also makes for these lines as well, and sends their seconds/overruns/etc out as well.

Looking forward to a trip report.

I'm sure there will be lots to report on this thread and the Thrift Cars thread.

I don't know if mine is weird.  I just have too much body in certain places.  Although, I don't understand how I can have narrow feet.  I mean I'm big everywhere except for long narrow feet.  Maybe I'm supposed to be skinny but I just like pizza, cookies, and steak a little too much.

Ha!  You are probably right.  Its the loaded baked potato with it.  Or the bread (is there anything better than really good bread and real butter?) or the Blue Cheese Dressing, or the dessert with the coffee.  Or more likely, its all of it together and two gin and tonics mixed in.

When I was kid, I remembering my father having these elaborate meals at a steakhouse or an Italian restaurant.  It would take 3 hours. First, there was an apertif, then wine with the salad/cheese/fruit, then either a big red with the steak or a couple of Martinis or Black Russians, then a port or brandy, then coffee and desert with Frangelico, or Amaretto.   Now, that I think back on it, I don't remember my Dad eating!

IMO: not potato or coffee.

100% sure: God I miss bread.

Loved the Harris Tweed that My Main Man sent for my gift, but it was simply too big. Felt guilty getting rid of such a great pattern.

So I carefully disassembled it to cover some old thrifted chairs we had in the attic.

Here is a mystery for you guys.
Reversible unstructured blazer, what has to be cashmere.
Problem...no tags what so ever, size, content nothing except the switzerland.
This has to be zegna right, they are the only ones to use that as far as i know.
I know they made stuff for gucci, versace and ford as well in switzerland but they always have logo buttons at least.
Any ideas?
