What.

Those are real?

But...why?

...I wouldn't go so far as to vouch for them, but, I had the same pair in suede leather a while back...though yeah I'd want to see the stamp on the footbeds.

Me too - I need a single Alden boot-sized dust bag, if anyone is holding.  Or a pair of bags is fine as well.

I just sold one made in Canada, but it was a women's wool toggle duffle coat, not leather.

Slow day at the thrifts today, so I hit an estate clearance sale (bunch of stuff that never sold at the original estate sales, marked 80% off) - not much there either:

Couple pictures of this guy for $2 each.  Can't decide if he's nuts, or these were his head shots when trying out for a part in The Wizard of Oz, or was a snake oil salesman, or what...

60 cents for the tie...why not...

Slowwww day.  I was gonna photo, measure and post a bunch of stuff to eBay over this 4-day weekend and I didn't even get to that. Feeling lazy.

Looks like a cadet coat possibly. If actually from West Point that'd be pretty spiffy. Dont know how $piffy, but I think it's cool.

Went to Philly with some out of town friends this weekend, decided to hit up my favorite hipster thrift store.

Also found on of those LP vests today...pleased to see their resale value. Some Barbour and Golden Bear as well. I think Eddie is hungry

I actually passed on this last week.

I'm going to be in Philadelphia for a couple of days next week. I'm staying in the Rittenhouse Square area. If anyone wants to meet up, or has any recommendations (thrift or otherwise) please send me a PM.

Thanks!

Had a few minutes of down time this afternoon and made a couple of timelines for some of the major fashion houses. I'm not sure how helpful they will be to anyone, but here are a couple of examples. I made several others to help me keep some of the dates straight.

These are the creative directors for their respective years. Let me know if I made any mistakes.
