Worth the grab? @Fueco?
Sweet pattern if nothing else
sometimes thrifting is a cruel mistress. Went out last week (first time in a while) and I had to pass on a super recent Isaia jacket because it had a hole on the lapel and it was an orphan. Then a little further down the rack I spot a nice zegna wool/silk suit looks minty, aaaaaaand then I see a massive hole on the elbow. so I check back quickly the next few days for other scraps... nada.
Ha! Me, too. Even without that haul, I would be happy to be getting something from his collection. In case I am, that LV trunk would be nice. You don't even have to mail it. I'll come get it. Please fill it with Kiton or Chanel.
Yeah, I came across that one in my early searching a few weeks ago. Looks like a two month lead time to get one though, which is kind of a turn-off. It does seem like a cool concept though. If I got that, I would have to start collecting vinyl more seriously.
Amir of Beverly Hills/Bel Air.... goes by both. He has that huge Billboard at Sepulveda and Santa Monica Blvd. that is adjacent to the two Bijan Billboards. Essentially he was a poor (still quite rich) man's Bijan and now that Bijan has passed I believe he is trying to carve his path to the top....this however is an older piece.
The cool thing about belt-drive turntables is it's easy to listen to all those records that have backmasking. Hail Santa!
