There was a designer between those two who put out great pieces and are also very worthy of copping. You don't see them everyday, you may never, but the same goes for shit like Kiton, you may find 5 suits in a row, you may never thrift a piece in your life, was merely saying what's good.
Still pissed I got out bid on a Tom ford era rive gauche leather bomber, was mislisted and only went for $56

decent price if a bit outdated

One stop, one pop. Dismal otherwise.

Some shit I copped.

Tie game kinda lacking

Thomas Pink by Charles Hill, Bizzocchi, Hermes, Talbott Carmel (it was free toss in), Zegna x2, Santoni 7 Fold (apparently quite rare)

Brioni, Charvet x2 (2nd is exclusive for Mr. Guy Beverly Hills), Etro x2, APC

T&A Bespoke, Etro, Paul Stuart, Skeet

BEEN HAD. Older with a perfect Been Had patch, don't know shit beyond the Polo Sport collection I had and sent to @PLaydice but this seemed worth the couple bucks

New model Zegnas

NWOT's Prada x2 slacks, FF black twill flannel and gray

Coming across Roderick Charles on this side of the Atlantic is probably as rare as bespoke Savile Row stuff. I've found one tie and that's it. Unfortuantely it doesn't share the same value as Savile Row, but love the stuff nonetheless.

Varvatos mainline by Lardini...it was cheap, peak lapels, fuck it

The fabric on these models never ceases to amaze me.

Passed on this a few times but I did well with an older C&C pure cashmere piece, and this one is way nicer with leather buttons so I pulled the trigger

Don't know what the fuck Guiseppe is however this blazer is 100% Alpaca, absolutely amazing to the touch, patch pockets, and I believe that's a D'Avenza manufacturers tag

1 wimminz post. Resale on Ferragamo sucks if worn, however if they are brand new and have a gold Ferragamo piece of metal knotting the bow on the toes, then it doesn't.

Wool/Silk, Surprisingly really nice piece and I really don't like D&G

Dope Bullock and Jones made in Italy wool bomber, would love to keep this thing, the window pain is a little redder

B Bros Fitzgerald 1818 Italy by Lardini w/ Barberis wool in solid blue

Same suit in solid charcoal gray (inside pic got fucked up)

Johnstons of Elgin NWT's

Older EZ Navy blue nailhead S100s suit, really nice

Probably nicest tux I've picked up, Gianluca Isaia Napoli Super 150s, Peak lapels 1 button

Rag & Bone tailoring navy blue 3/2 Hacking blazer patch pockets

Yohji Yamamoto Crew neck zip up sweatshirt

Sideways English silk pocket squares (no name just made in England)

Chrome fucking Hearts

BRODEETZ (Click to show)

Linda Farrow Lux

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Probably the best SW&D line there was from 2000-2008, Nom De Guerre was my favorite line by far, all made in Japan, can't believe I thrifted a piece. Unfortunately, having a store that is unmarked with any sign and has a side street entrance that leads 3 stories underground beneath a random Swatch store in the middle of Manhattan being your only location of business, and Union LA, didn't seem to work out in their favor.

EZ solid black Trofeo, this may make it's way to my closet, need to upgrade

Gorgeous EZ 15milmil15 blazer for C&Co (also may enter my closet)

Armani black label Pure Cashmere blazer 1 button closure

Belvest Super 100s pinstripe charcoal suit

That Tom Ford Gucci suit. The real thing.

and some ties to go along

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Done.

Fuuckk.....One of my saved sellers has a Rive Gauche suit mislisted that I'm waiting to pull the trigger on. Don't know why I haven't yet but one click and I could flip it for 4 times asking price. Should probably just go ahead and take care of that...

I almost had the TRAD version of Thriftening today, but I passed on several things. The guys at AAAC Trad would have been in Heaven.

Went to an estate sale today and it was a TRAD dream. LOTS (probably 40) of Gitman Shirts, LOTS of Skinny regimental ties, 20 OCBD shirts (local store brand), Norman Hilton Suits, 4-5 vintage Sack suits (local store brand), several pairs of Saddle Shoes, and more.

I did buy a few things. 3 pair of Vintage Polo braces (braided leather), trafalgar braces, a GORGEOUS 3 Piece Vintage H. Freeman suit, a Chester Barrie Suit, a Norman Hilton Blazer, a couple of other suits and I did get a few ties.

Will post pics later.

At another sale, I got a Pendleton Robe, an Old Cotton//Silk Robe, an amazing women's Italian Silk scarf (don't know maker yet) a wild looking Kalaroo (similar to Coogie) Cardigan, a BB Pima Cotton Sweater, a pair of Magnanni Woven leather tassel loafers for myself, a pair of Seiko Pure Titanium Eyeglasses, a couple nice cashmere scarves and a 22 piece set of Corningware I hope to list today!

One my thrifts got a donation of 45 Norman Hilton suits at once. Wanted to proxy for @capnwes cuz that stuff seamed right up the Seam Store ally but shipping all that wool would have cost so fucking much. It was kinda annoying too cuz they literally put every one of them out.

For what it is worth, their "no refunds or exchanges" policy is waived if the items are damaged. The very friendly CSR I spoke with immediately sent me a pre-paid FedEx return label. Also, their shipping speed in phenomenal, but their packaging sux. They just wad the ties up in some brown paper and put them in a too-large box surrounded by more brown paper. The ties are horribly creased. I will salvage the one but everything else is going back. It just goes to show that a deal is only a deal if the product is worth the effort.

Thanks for the report, glad I didn't order. I noticed when I zoomed on a large screen that there were noticeable flaws in the stock images of the ties on sale so I did not kop. I recall seeing some Kiton ties at NMLC last time I was there in similar condition for about the same price.

Working through the backlog. Couple recent scores:

VTG US Made Willis & Geiger A-2. My first good leather jacket cop. Really wish this was a 40 or 42.

Pops copped this one while out running errands. Cant find another one with this pattern anywhere.

My first Hermes.

The keeper/label is missing but the tie is a keeper anyway.  May wear it to a Christmas party tonight.
